Searching For Friends Of Peace - Day 5 || IAmAliveChallenge (IAAC) #210

The day was Friday 21st of November, 2025, the fifth day of the preaching campaign in search of the friends of peace at Ikot Abia, Mkpat Enin local government area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

As usual by 6.10am we were up to start the morning routine and preparation to move. But before moving out, we considered the morning worship daily text which was taken from Ephesian. 3:11 that says: "This is according to the eternal purpose that he formed in connection with the Christ, Jesus our Lord." In summary it shows that God has progressively revealed his “eternal purpose” in His word the Bible. And He has always succeeds because he “has made everything work for his purpose.” (Prov. 16:4) One of such is when God told the first humans that his purpose for them was to “be fruitful and become many, fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection . . . every living creature” on earth. (Gen. 1:28) When Adam and Eve rebelled, causing sin to enter the human family, Jehovah’s purpose was not thwarted. He adjusted the way it would be achieved. Immediately, he determined to set up a Kingdom in heaven that would accomplish his original purpose for mankind and the earth.​—Matt. 25:34.

This original purpose for mankind on the earth is what we go about in search of friends of peace to declare the news to them so as to give them hope for a better future.

After prayer we then prepare the breakfast, took our bath and get dressed and then settle to eat the breakfast together.

After the preparation we move to the kingdom hall for the meeting for field service where we meet with other local brothers and sisters. The overseer gave some reminders and directors to the street we will be preaching. Then pairing and prayer took place, we then set out for the fifth territory at Ikot Abia, environs Mkpat Enin local government.

Because of the rain that fell the previous night, some of the street were left with pools of water and this make passage difficult for us, but because of the message we bear, we do not allow the conditions of the terrain to deter us, we navigated through, reach people there and navigate out again to join others.

We then move to the areas along the Ikot Abia highway and met with people in their shops, houses and on the street.

Once the environment has been covered and completed, we then set to return back home so as to go and prepare for the Christian Life and Ministry Meeting by 4pm at the hall.

The meeting was fruitful and reinvigorative. The local brothers and sisters were thrilled to have us in their meeting, this makes them to feel more determined to brace up the challenge and press on to Christian maturity.

After the meeting we pose for some shots with bright looking faces that illuminate our happy God.

And more and more of the pictures of a happy worshippers.

Finally we return back home to prepare for dinner as well as prepare for the next day's adventures in search of the friends of peace.

It was really a thrilling experience working in God's vineyard.
