Attending SpendHBD Leaders Training || Preparing For The Uyo First Hive/SpendHBD Meetup

Greetings dear happy hivers and HBD spenders on the Hive blockchain. It's been quite some weeks of my absent in my hive/SpendHBD activities due to some unpleasant uprising that almost makes me go into depression, but thankfully I am getting back to my feet again.

I received the information that there will be the first Uyo Hive/SpendHBD Meetup coming up at the end of the month of May 2025, so there is need for leaders and trainers to meet for training, brainstorming and preparing for effective Meetup hosting. So by 3.45pm on Sunday I call on @umoh100 whom I have notify about the training, and after rescheduling other activities withing the time frame I made my way to 24 Mbak Road, Ifa Big Junction to attend the training as arranged by @ijelady.

At The Training Center

The training session commences with 5 members at present, and after the welcome address, the growth and activities of Hive in Nigeria was looked into which shows that the adoption, awareness and #spendhbd activities is leading other countries that are here on hive. Sighting the example of the Happy Customers HBD supermarkets at Aba - Nigeria is really doing wonders.

Therefore for more of such to take place especially in Uyo were we need a Hive/HBD supermarket, we the leader and trainers need to brace up effort and improve on our marketing skills, training methods that will help us onboard more people on Hive as well as spendhbd program. Hence the need for the Uyo First Meetup.

Preparation To Host The Uyo First Hive/SpendHBD Meetup

As part of the preparation for effective hosting of the Uyo First Hive/SpendHBD Meetup, we have arrange to have the following in place :

Hive/HBD branded T-shirt
Hive/SpendHBD banners
At least one Roll-up barner at the venue
Softdrink and water
A conducive venue
Individual contribution were the need arise
Handbill and flyers for hive promotion

The date for the Meetup is 30th May, 2025, which is on a Friday. The time is 3.00pm.

We do know that nothing good comes easy, so we have challenge ourselves to put in our best so as to have a meaningful Uyo Meetup. Others who could not attend have been reach through the WhatsApp group.

After taking group and individual pictures, the meeting/leaders training come to a close at about 7.30pm with a view to continue other discussions on the WhatsApp group.
