Splinterlands Social Media Challenge / Pruitt Save My Team More Than I can Count

In this edition of the Social media challenge, I will share with you my adventure with Pruitt the Light summoner of choice I love to play in my ranking battles.
If you find the combination of cards under the command of Pruitt interesting for your level up, you will improve your winning rate with similar strategies.

Main battle rulesets
Only Melee and magic warriors in the arena

No attack will miss
Mana value: 25
Pruitt is a nice summoner that enhance my melee warriors in the light collection. There are so many complications that can limit the role of melee in the arena that Splinters have to be careful the choice they make before entering the arena.
A. Barrier against the magic attacks
Summoner in Light elemental can offer captivating abilities to the units under their command. In the case of Pruitt, my option is to combine void magic with the armor repair.

The selection of this team showed the importance to consider the defense against magic attacks.
Here is the option to secure a victory in this intensive combat.

ingariel showed a possible way to use Scion as backup in the line-up his complementary action save the day on the battlefield.

The repair ability from Pruitt allowed Knight to build his defense against all attempt from the magic units to destroy his position as tanker.

The plan is this battle is the same as I built the team under the light summoner. The repair of the armor on the tanker in the lineup restored the shield against the magic attacks.
If this defense mechanism fails, the entire team will be destroyed in a matter of a few strikes.

** Pruitt amazing progress
My team was only compose of melee units, which was a requirement from the battle rulesets. The tanker in my line does not require protection against magic hostile units, but the repair of armor can boost the offensive measure of Mantaroth.

B. Pruitt complex moves
The game battle plan can be tough in certain battle considering the rulesets. It is important to adapt rapidly to the weakness of the present strategies under Pruitt command.
In this game the thorns backfired hard on my units despite the complementary restoration of the armors.
The battle was very long and exhausting for both parties, and finally the units on the board did not survive.
You can see that the evolution of the opposition in function of the rulesets is so significant that it demands the alternative strategies when similar situation is going to repeat in the arena.

C. Collection of Powerful Cards
I learned so much about the vital role of key warriors in my collection. If there is advice to give, the one unchanging rule is to keep building your warriors.
The unlock abilities will show their value in the following chapters of the game. If you sell prematurely the low level cards later in the game, you will miss the value of such powerful cards in your strategies.
