A Nostalgic Photowalk: Capturing the Scenery at the Beach / Black & White Photography Round 144

Peace,

How are you doing Hivians passionate of photography?

It is the beginning of a very beautiful day here in Cotonou City. The weather has been very kind with the citizen the last weekend.

I have so many tasks to complete outside town that I was not free to visit the beach. I got the feeling that a similar situation might happen, so I took many shoots two weeks ago at the beach.

The beach is not too far from my position whenever I am on travel outside my hometown, because my gallery of photos has a large file of photos.

I took some beautiful views of landscape at the beach and share it with the community in black and white to add some nostalgic moment to the spectacle.

  • A/- Woke up late

It was a Sunday outside activities at the beach I planned 24 hours earlier during the weekend.
My plan was simple, to photowalk and talk to a visitor at the beach of Hive and his potential to offer an opportunity to build a visible portal. It was not easy to wake up just after the long night partying with friends.
I could not stay in bed because the alarm clock wake up sound was the best selection possible to bring me back from the dream world.

  • B/- Memory in photos

It was magnificent to view the landscape on this side of the coastline. There are so many installations next to the beach where people can gather and celebrate that it is easy to cut your feet if you don't pay enough attention.

I was sure that the broken glass of the Saturday night were still on the sand close to the establishments such as restaurant or simple bungalow.

Despite the danger to walk barefoot so early in the morning considering nobody has cleaned yet the area, I was enjoying the spectacle. There was nothing to stop me in this photo adventure, I found myself deeply emerge inside.

My camera was ready to capture everything related to this exceptional view on the brightest Sunday I have seen for a long time.
It was four hours long of walking, relaxing at the sound of the waves and stopping time to fix part of this scenery in my camera.

I was on my way to the spot, fisherman regularly deploy their fishnet into the Ocean to grab more exciting moments of this local activities in the scenery.
After reaching the location, I only find the empty fishnet left to dry on the sand.

Apparently I was late and the children playing near told me to go one mile in the same direction to find the other group returning from the Ocean ready to pull out their capture.

It was late, and I was sure that the only way to catch the good photos would require to run all the way. I told the young swimmers that I will come back another day to participate in the fish net drag from the Ocean to the beach.

Hi.

I love going to the beach because the sand, the waves, and the clouds in the sky are so appealing.
It's wonderful to be able to walk near the sea and feel its touch without it hurting us.
I love how the clouds move in the sky, forming spectacular shapes.

Nice photos, my friend. 😀
