Trump is pointing fingers at Ireland now

Any Trump hater here? Any Trump supporter here? Just wanting to find out before I give my opinion regarding the recent decisions he's been making and how a lot of it is just backfiring.
The unfortunate thing about it is that when president Trump makes a decision that almost looks like a declaration of war against countries that used to be neighbors and friends with the U.S, the headlines don't just read Trump did something, it reads America did it too.
If we see Trump making a decision to impose tariffs on a nation, it is also taken as America making that decision. This is creating a bad identity not just for the people of America but also for their currency, the dollar. Countries like China, Mexico and Canada that are powerful trading partners with America are now against America, well not the American citizens but the American policies.
Donald Trump has added Ireland to watchlist that is set to look at how other nations conduct or manage their trade and currencies. Ireland has become something of a favorite for U.S. companies looking to expand overseas. With friendly tax rules and a skilled workforce, big names like Apple, Google, Pfizer and Eli Lilly have made it their second home.
These new relations have put Ireland in a special position where they can send a lot of goods, especially medicines and all sorts of tech products back to the U.S. All of that has led to a really big trade surplus for Ireland. In simple man's terms, Ireland is selling more to the U.S than it's buying from them. Trump clearly doesn't like the looks of that and let's pretend to flip the script. If it was U.S at am advantage with a trade surplus, Trump would have probably seen it has perfectly fine.
Trump clearly doesn't like the American companies setting up shop abroad regardless of whether those companies are still contributing to the U.S economy or not.
This is making me think about what the real motive of Trump really is. Does he want the whole world to make progress or does he just want to win, not caring what happens to other nations.
History tells us that Ireland has been here before. This isn’t the first time it’s been added to this list, but each time they get added it probably stirs up anxiety about possible tariffs or penalties. So far, being part of the EU has shielded Ireland from harsher action, but they're definitely on the edge if you ask me.
Perhaps Trump's got a point, the surplus seems unfair and a balance is neither but I don't see Trump's actions leading to balance that favors all countries involved.
