Sometimes Change Of Lifestyle Is Requirement For Healing
Health they say is wealth. Good health is a one important confluence to ensuring that wealth is gathered. Without good health, it will be practically impossible to reach financial freedom by oneself.
Science made many things to be very easy and faster. Unlike the days when Malaria is a big cause for panic, the discovery of malaria medicines has helped to reduce the rate in which a person will panic if they have malaria in our world today. Though the potency is probably not as effective as it used to be.

Medications have proven to be a very important part of the society. Healing a wide range of illnesses and serving as prophylactic measures against many other disease causing microbes, the importance of medications knows no bound.
Though when taken in excess and without proper prescription from a qualified source, it can cause more harm than intended good. Nonetheless, there are still medications that can counter the effect of general or specific medications.
We live in a world where diseases are the order of the day. Without proper prevention, one can fall sick and suffer many chronic complications.
However, there are times when medications alone can not solve our health problems. For treatment and management of some certain health conditions, changing lifestyle is very important.
This post is a hive learners prompt asking us to talk about a time we got to full health without the need for medications.
Throughout my life up until before I became a student nurse, I have tasted various degrees of stress and i came out with no problems. With good sleep, i'm back to full health. I wouldn't even feel the stress of the previous day. Welp, everything changed a few years ago when i became a student nurse.
As a student nurse, the stress load was too much. What made the stress unbearable was that, at that time, our school was just opening newly after they lost accreditation for many years. I think for a decade or two.
My course mates and I were engaged in important decision making of the school, like what color of uniforms to wear, and how to go about receiving our next accreditation from Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
Being the class president, the stress was intense. I was my HOD's handbag. Anywhere she goes, i'm there with her. I handle lots of documents, including money. They were still building the school, so, the had little man power. Coupled with the fact that the school is very far away, staffs didn't want to work in the school, so, they always switch to a closer school when they are transferred to my school.
Aiding my HOD, I took the responsibility of many positions without receiving any pay. During that time, i barely sleep. Me and Insomnia became one. It got to a point where I had to visit the doctor because my health was going bad. I was feeling headache every now and then. Paracetamol became candy for me but still, the headache was still there. Instead of healing, the headache became worst.
I had to see a doctor. He diagnosed me with psychological stress and gave me a medication and asked me to get enough rest. I thought everything will go back to normal after the medications, but they didn't.
I started to get some relief when i began to gradually change my lifestyle. I did the stressful jobs, but then, instead of going to read after working with my Head Of Department (HOD), i made sure to get enough rest and sleep first.
Gradually, my health began to get better and i was able to keep studying, and helping the school authority where possible.
Thank you for reading
I liked how you talked about the pressure of being a leader and the extra responsibility; the real impact on your body and mind was clear. I also liked the simple and effective solution: prioritizing rest. A solid and honest text!

I do believe a lot of health comes directly from how we actually feel about ourselves and our surroundings. If we are generally happier than the obvious then I believe that our health would be generally better. As they say, smiling is half the medicine. A good mood sure does go a long way and it obviously triggers into a better lifestyle which is also essential to better health.
CHange of lifestyle can help us in lots of problems. For example I was having constant headache due to bad posture. What improved a lot was going to the gym. I am avoiding taking so much painkillers now since it improved a lot my back pains!
