Family Planning To Regulate Population
One similarity I have noticed between most ladies I have come across, is that, they really love kids. I once watched a video on facebook where the narrator told a real life story of a family that - due to their love for children, went ahead to adopt about 6 children from another family, irrespective of the fact that they had 9 kids already. Even at that, the wife kept giving birth to more children, all in the name of - She loves children.
When i was watching that video, i could not help it but wish that i could order a balloon for her husband, but then, everybody are not the same, thus, we have diverse desires. Moreover, they had the resources to take care of the kids.
Earlier last year, when i went to Abakiliki, Ebonyi state for a clinical experience, I had one patient who came for her antenatal visitl. Guess what? She was a G10 P9 A9. If you don't understand, i meant that she was a Gravida 10 (number of total pregnancies she's had throughout her lifespan), Para 9 (number of births both Vaginal delivery and Cesarean section) and Alive 9 (meaning the number of her children alive).
Due to the many pregnancies, the 10th one presented with a lot of back ache. She could not stand properly. There i was, looking at the patient. My mind was blank and i didn't know what to do but to automatically start giving family planning lectures. Lol. I totally forgot about the booking process, and i started asking about her modes of contraception which made things weird, until colleague snapped me out of it.
I dont know whether or not she delivered safely (i hope she did) because my time with that maternity came to an end, so, i had to leave.
The world population is rapidly increasing as time goes on. Though there are lots of deaths, the amount of children being born per year is more than the amount of deaths. From the records of the hospitals i have worked for, i could see the stats very clearly.
Inarguably, kids are cute and they are really fun to have around. But then, when i view it from another perspective, My thoughts are - it will be nice if the government bring up an incentive to control the population by regulating the amount of children a family have. Like, why will a family, one woman, give birth to 9 kids. 9 good kids. Where i'm from, they see children as a blessing but then, 9 children in this hard economy?
I think it will be a good thing to the world if the government regulate the population through birth control. That's one of the reasons why we have family planning.
Though earth has quite a lot of resources, regulating the amount of children a family have will do a lot of good, one of which is - saving resources. Imagine a man having 9 kids in this bad economy. Imagine how expensive it will be to train these kids. He may end up sending some of those kids to learn hand work, and some will go serve their uncle (who in most cases, will maltreat them).
Again, why give scholarship to each individual in a family of 9, when the government can give the scholarship to three families that comprises of the same amount of children? Not only that, regulating the number of kids a family has, will not only regulate the population, but it will also help to reduce lots of complications that comes with pregnancy.
Thank you for reading.
The reflection on birth control and the proposal for government intervention to regulate the number of children in families is relevant. In fact, overpopulation can be a serious problem, especially in contexts of scarce resources and difficult economic conditions. The idea of providing incentives and creating public policies for family planning seems to be a smart measure to ensure that families can provide a more sustainable and balanced future for their children.

The number of children people give birth to every day of life is highly increase, so if government should regulate the population of family will go along way by family themselves cope with the economy of the society and the global....
If the government assists in controlling family size, it might relieve economic strain and enhance living standards for many.
