Expensive Course
Last year was a very interesting one. It's quite sad that it left so quick even before I had time to accomplish all my goals. Well, as the saying goes, "time waits for no one." It's important to lock in and carefully hurry up with everything than to chill and think time waits for anyone. Time is both and ally and an enemy. It depends greatly on how well is used or misused.
Though the economy of my country is not really good, people actually spent a lot last year. People bought many diverse things. Some spent on cars, businesses, their personal growth and even other people.

Last year was the year I decided to leave everything behind and lock in. Grow myself, develop, be better and get more of what I needed. I learnt one valuable lesson last year. This lesson is about self development. I have actually heard a lot about the importance of self development but I did not pay mind to it became I didn't really understand what it means.
When I watched a few videos of Late Mr Jim Rohn, I began to understand different aspects of life. Success is not about how much money you have, but how well you're developed. How disciplined you are. What quality do a person posses, and how valued a person is. I began to understand that self development can help improve these aspects of an individual, thus, my search for diverse knowledge to develop myself in all ramifications.
I actually ventured into many things. I read a lot of books. I listened to some podcasts (not those ones that tell you work hard untill your sweat dries on your skin). And I actually began to see life from quite a different perspective than I used to view life.
I made money this year. I lost money this year. Where I'm from, there is a saying, "Your enemies will come in one way but flee in many ways." I don't really think this is about actual enemies. I think it's about the salary people earn. You get one credit alert and 50 debits. The most crazy thing is that you may not even remember what the money was used for.
I spent a lot of money last year. Mostly, I spent on self development materials. I also got a few things just for the sake of buying. I can't really say for sure - this is the most expensive thing I spent on last year. I made quite a few purchases that I consider huge at this my financial level.

I think the most I spent on this year is in my Forex trading journey. I'm not yet a pro trader. I'm still learning. Taking good set ups and leaving the rest. My win rate is quite good, but then, before I reached the stage of bagging a few profits, I spent a lot on courses and on stop losses.
I was stopped out more times than I can remember. I blew a few accounts. And yes, my profit was at the negative side. I lost to the extent that I became frustrated. Revenge trading became the order of the day. I didn't actually backtest because my psychology is that - live trading builds better psychology. It's better to get the loses, get used to it and become emotionally strong than to backtest for months, and still come on live to master your emotions. .
Both the money for buying different courses, the money spent on data, and the money used to fund my accounts, all cost quite a lot. I think this is the most expensive thing I spent on last year. If I have to, I would spend my money again to learn the things I know more. I even plan on buying more courses.

Truly one crazy year , but we thank God it came and has passed.
And you just said it all, success is not about how much we have, but what have we achieved with ourselves. This shows we must keep growing.
