Community service. Cleanplanet
One of the major ways for members of a community to connect, is through community service.
Each and every day, members go out to their diverse jobs. "Hello" and "hi" with a little exchange of pleasantries, is the way most people communicate in the community.
Community service, however, brings people together, gives them time to chat while they carryout their service, and also, help them unite and connect better.
There are different forms of community service. Everyone can engage in this service, as it is not only reserved as purnishment for people who broke the law.
Over here, improper waste disposal is at a high rise. Even when waste bins are provided, people still leave their garbage on the ground. They probably derive joy from seeing the streets dirty.
I hate littering the streets. I learnt to always pocket my garbage, until I see a waste bin. Sometimes, I standup against people who litter.
About one year ago, I formed a habit of going round my community, to remove every garbage in it.
Honestly, when I started, I felt embarrassed and I really hated this habit but then, as time goes on, I began to love it. I don't know why, but I love the actions, and it became a part of my daily routine.
From time to time, I do encourage some of my friends to do it. They started offline for a while, before I told them to come on hive. It's nice having them here.
Though they came partly because of the cleanplanet, they are gradually begining to acclimatize with the hive platform.
Hopefully, them become great hive bloggers.
Just as every other day, I stepped out today to clean the planet, as always.
Thank you for reading.
This is my entry for the #augustinleo day 16 prompt.

It's good to dispose our waste properly, else littering the street will only make the place not just dirty, but attract mosquito and ultimately leading to flood when such block the drainage system.
You're doing a noble act.
such things are already happening.
Thank you for your lovely comment.
