A SEARCH FOR FREEDOM
Most people want freedom but they invest most of their time in something that will never make them to be as free as they desire.
They lack knowledge on where to go or what to do in other to get the freedom the sought for. Less is free ya'know.
Nobody wants to be a parrot in the cage as everyone aims to be as free as a wild eagle flying through the clouds and breathing pure oxygen, with nobody disturbing them, no body bothering them and no assets or anything, tying them at a place with no peace of mind.
Personally, I see freedom as a state of being free from every thing that disturbs my peace of mind. Being free from anything that will make me feel physically and emotionally over worked, and not being able to express myself.
With freedom, comes the ability to maintain a stable peace of mind and a very healthy relationship with people.
There are some activities that helps me feel more free and more happy.
One of such activity is going for night walks.
Another, is sitting outside my house while staring at the stars and counting it. I even have names for each stars I count. Haha. Like counting your blessings and naming it one by one. Hehe.
Though the nature of my job can be really taxing, I always find peace when I take on these activities.
Sitting outside my home at night, while looking at the stars gives me a sense of freedom..I feel connected to the stars and feel like I am as free as they are.
One day, I was seated outside and doing what I know how to do best. Stare at the beautiful lights of the stars and moon.
I did not notice the arrival of my friend who wanted me to help him with something.
He got in through the already open gate and called my name.
He said that he has been there for a while now and he has been observing me.
He went further to ask me, why do I spend much time looking at the stars? Sometimes, you go for walks and spend about an hour because you're walking slowly. Why is that? Is there anything special? He asked.
Well yes. Everything is special about the stars. I replied with a huge smile.
After giving him what he came for, he left and I continued with what I was doing.
This is my entry for the freedom Friday theme.
Thank you for reading.
Indeed. Though one would argue the next level of freedom is understanding what it is you wish to express. :)
Thank you for your entry.
Understanding what you wish to express is not freedom. I don't actually see that as freedom. That's just a person being wiser and mindful of what they let out.
Thank you for your lovely comment

We trust that you have seen our Introduction, Content Ideas & Posting Guidelines, which could be a great tool for the inspiration of content.
There's always some activity in the community, namely, our weekly publication called #KISS (an acronym for our community motto, Keep It Simple & Smart), presents you with blog ideas for the week, to boost community activities.
A #KISS publication is always pinned on the community's feed.
Secondly, we have our daily weekly theme topics, where you can find the active week, however, you are free to present any minimalist-focused post at any time, as long as it is original content.
We do prefer original photos over sourced photos from the internet, and we find relevant photos to conceptualise your stories more interesting.
Welcome again, and see you around the community.
Thanks a lot.
Its really a nice community.
I love what you do here.
Freedom is important and losing it means losing all for me. You have a awesome routine such as observing the sky and talking a walk, I enjoy watching the beautiful sky as well.
I enjoy being around nature watching the trees moving as they wish, freedom is indeed important.
that makes us two. i think we have something in common
I think that to have true freedom you need limits. In fact, the stars themselves are subject to well-defined physical laws, which allow them to have their shape, duration and place. The important point is who defines those limits in each case. Good article. Regards @nwothini335
limits? maybe i do not really understand your point, but from the little i understand i find this point to be arguable. limits actually bound a person to a particular space. this is not true freedom.
I like to take night walks. Where I live the night is very quiet and cold. Walking is almost like a therapy where there are only your thoughts and yourself, with nothing to distract you.
this is the best place to live in. i am just imagining how good it will feel to take a walk in this type of environment.
