Привіт! Ліси — це легені планети й одна з найважливіших компонентів життя. 2011 рік ООН оголосила роком лісів й НБ увів в обіг монету номіналом 5 гривень. Монета введена в обіг 24 листопада.

Вага виробу зі срібла складає 15.55 г, діаметр — 33 мм. Гурт гладкий. Тираж склав всього 3 тисячі. Для допису “Срібна монета Міжнародний рік лісів, срібло, серія “Інші монети, номінал 5 гривень, 2011 рік” використано дві світлини з офіційного сайту Національного банку України.

Реверс. Назва викарбувана угорі, а гасло “Збережемо заради життя” - в нижній частині. Центр монети займає зображення гілок і рук.
