Привіт! Професія коваль з'явилася ще до нашої ери, хоча невідомо, чи називали в ті часи людей, що виконували цю нелегку роботу. Монета Коваль присвячена людям саме цієї професії, що існує й дотепер. Вона була введена в обіг НБУ 28 березня.

Вага срібного виробу складає 31.1 г, а розмір — 38.6 мм. Загальний тираж монети — 10 тисяч штук. Для допису “Срібна монета із серії “Народні промисли та ремесла” - Коваль, 2011 рік, номінал 10 гривень” запозичено дві світлини з офіційного сайту НБУ. Монета має гладкий гурт.

Реверс. По обидва боки срібної монети нанесено стилізовані елементи. Назва монети викарбувана у верхній частині, а безпосередньо в центрі зображено коваля з молотом в одній руці й виробом з металу у другій.

Лицьова сторона. В центрі монети художники нанесли 2 пташок, по обидва боки від яких нанесено побутові речі та зброю з металу. Назва фінансового регулятора та Герб зображено вгорі, а знизу — номінал. Ще нижче нанесено рік виготовлення.

Front side. In the center of the coin, the artists have drawn 2 birds, on both sides of which household items and metal weapons have been drawn. The name of the financial regulator and the Coat of Arms are shown at the top, and the denomination at the bottom. Even lower is the year of manufacture.
