Привіт! Соня Садова звучить, немов ім'я та прізвище. Насправді ж, це маленький гризун, що зустрічається лише в декількох областях України. За 80 років минулого століття на території України було виявлено лише кілька особин цього гризуна. Тому зустріти його в живій природі практично неможливо. Введена монета в обіг 15 грудня.

Монета важить 31.1 г й має розмір 38.6 мм. Для допису “Соня Садова: монета із серії “Флора і фауна”, срібло, 1999 рік, номінал 10 гривень” використано 2 світлини з головної сторінки Національного фінансового регулятора України. Всього виготовлено 5 тисяч монет. Виріб має рифлений гурт.

Реверс. На цьому боці монети можна побачити гілку малини й головну героїню, що мирно спить. Угорі нанесено назву монети.

Лицьова сторона. Лицьова сторона монети оформлена в традиційному для цієї серії стилі. Так, навколо центральної частини зображений вінок з тварин та рослин. Угорі розташований Герб, нижче — напис України, ще нижче — номінал та рік виготовлення. На дзеркальному тлі по обидва боки від цифри 10 вказано назву металу, пробу та вагу.

Greetings! Sonia Sadova sounds like a first and last name. In fact, it is a small rodent found only in a few regions of Ukraine. During the 80 years of the last century, only a few individuals of this rodent were found on the territory of Ukraine. Therefore, it is almost impossible to meet him in the wild. The coin was put into circulation on December 15.
