Te marchas como aquel sinuoso río
Sin apreciar las veleidades del tiempo
Sabiendo que la nieve se derrite
No da tregua, ni permite un respiro

Se desprende sobre ti el sudor del cielo
Dándote vida, hasta hacerte caudaloso
El avance de las aguas te socava
transformando en arroyo tu camino

Las estaciones hicieron su visita
Como regalo disfruté la primavera
hasta aprecié la belleza de sus flores

Tras la llegada del otoño avasallante
Desnudaste mi sentido y mi esencia
Debilitaste mi piel con el verano
Aletargando mi viaje sin destino

Aunque el invierno con su gélido soplido
Despertó mis deseos reprimidos
Alertaste mis recónditos sentidos
Ante la marcha de las horas postrimeras

Cada ciclo de estaciones transitadas
Deja en mi cuerpo esas huellas lastimeras
Que jamás notarán, aunque quisiera

Celebremos por aquellos que se fueron
Abracemos a quienes hoy nos abrazan
Tracemos nuestra firma ya imborrable
Reflexionemos, antes de que sea tarde

Ya los años venideros amenazan
Con dejar que su nieve nos arrope
Año tras año agradezcamos la vida
Esperemos por los cambios prometidos

Nunca dejemos de hacer lo que nos plazca
Porque vivir, tiene un valor inexpugnable
Y solo tú serás el responsable.

You leave like that winding river
Without appreciating the vagaries of time
Knowing that the snow melts
Gives no respite, nor allows a respite

The sweat of the sky falls on you
Giving you life, until it makes you flowing
The advance of the waters undermines you
Transforming your path into a stream

The seasons paid their visit
As a gift I enjoyed the spring
I even appreciated the beauty of its flowers.

After the arrival of the overwhelming autumn
You stripped my sense and my essence
You weakened my skin with summer
Lulling my journey without destination

Although winter with its gelid blowing
Awakened my repressed desires
You alerted my hidden senses
Before the march of the last hours

Each cycle of seasons traveled
Leaves in my body those pitiful traces
That you will never notice, even if I wanted you to

Let's celebrate for those who are gone
Let us embrace those who embrace us today
Let us trace our now indelible signature
Let us reflect, before it is too late

Already the coming years threaten
To let their snow envelop us
Year after year let us be grateful for life
Let's wait for the promised changes

Let us never cease to do as we please
For to live, it has an unassailable value
And you alone will be responsible.
