Ayer, tocaba hacer las compras en el súper, pero nos tocó entrar por la puerta principal, de lado del shopping. Así que antes de ir al mercado, nos detuvimos a tomar un cafecito en el café restaurante Havanna. Es una franquicia que siempre nos ha gustado por la variedad de postres y deliciosas combinaciones de café, tanto frío como caliente, o cremoso que ofrece

Yesterday, it was time to go shopping at the supermarket, but we had to enter through the main door, on the side of the shopping mall. So before going to the market, we stopped for a coffee at the Havanna coffee restaurant. It is a franchise that we have always liked for the variety of desserts and delicious combinations of coffee, both hot and cold, or creamy coffee offered.

Cuando traen la carta, me llamó la atención una variedad de café que ofrecen, con leche condensada. Tenía mucho tiempo que no consumía azúcar, por razones de salud, pero quise averiguar, el sabor, de esta nueva combinación. Como se puede observar en el vasito, al fondo tiene la espesa leche condensada, y encima el café negro o tinto. Por supuesto lo sirven acompañado con un vasito con soda, y una galletita. Mi opinión es que aunque no cambiaría el café marrón claro por ningún otro, este me gustó como para variar en alguna oportunidad. Es el café de la casa.

When they brought the menu, a variety of coffee with condensed milk caught my attention. I had not consumed sugar for a long time, for health reasons, but I wanted to find out the taste of this new combination. As can be seen in the cup, at the bottom is the thick condensed milk, and on top is the black or red coffee. Of course it is served with a glass of soda and a cookie. My opinion is that although I would not change the light brown coffee for any other, I liked this one for a change on occasion. It is the coffee of the house.

Café con mis hijos... En la imagen que sigue, pueden observar las manos de mis cómplices. Porque ellos no toman café, pero me complacen. Cada uno se tomó un jugo de frutillas con burbujas. Esas burbujas, cuando las tomas se siente una explosión de sabores en boca, agridulce, deliciosa al gusto.

Coffee with my children... In the image below, you can see the hands of my accomplices. Because they don't drink coffee, but they please me. They each had a strawberry juice with bubbles. Those bubbles, when you drink them, you feel an explosion of flavors in your mouth, sweet and sour, delicious to the taste.

Para completar mi pecadillo, he pedido un muffin de chocolate con almendras, relleno con chocolate. Suena redundante, Chocolate con chocolate, pero es delicioso. Además, es de buen tamaño. Las láminas de las almendras, le dan ese toque crocante, el relleno, realza esa textura cremosa por el chocolate y el ponqué, se siente esponjoso y suave al paladar, además el punto de azúcar está correcto. No se siente empalagoso.

To complete my peccadillo, I ordered a chocolate muffin with almonds, filled with chocolate. It sounds redundant, chocolate with chocolate, but it's delicious. Plus, it's a good size. The almond slices give it that crunchy touch, the filling enhances the creamy texture of the chocolate and the cake feels spongy and soft on the palate, plus the sugar content is just right. It does not feel cloying.

Los tres hijos decidieron ordenar, un Wafle con dulce de leche, crema, chantillí y bañado en caramelo con mermelada de frutillas, con pasas. Eso sí que fue de un dulzor, brutal. Yo solo probé la mermelada. Con solo verlo, me sentí empalagada. Pero ellos lo disfrutaron entre los tres. Me pareció lo mejor, porque una sola persona se come un wafle de este tipo, y sale diabética de una vez. La verdad es que es exagerada la carga de dulce que tiene.

My three children decided to order a waffle with dulce de leche, cream, whipped cream and caramel with strawberry jam and raisins. That was really sweet, brutal. I only tasted the jam. Just looking at it, I felt cloying. But they enjoyed it between the three of them. I thought it was the best, because only one person eats a waffle of this kind, and comes out diabetic at once. The truth is that the sweetness of the waffle is exaggerated.

Estos son los globitos que le ponen a los jugos de frutas, Globos de frutilla...
Su color es muy llamativo, y su sabor es entre agrio y dulce. Su característica principal es que al morderlos dentro de la boca, se revientan y salen los sabores expandidos por todo el paladar.

Este fue un abuso de mi parte, pues no estoy tomando dulce desde hace un tiempo. Pero finalmente, para no estar con cargos de consciencia, decidí pasar por alto esta sensación de culpabilidad, mientras pudimos degustar nuestro pequeño brunch y hacer un alto antes de ir a llenar el carrito con las compras de la semana.

This was an abuse on my part, as I haven't had any sweets for a while. But finally, so as not to be burdened with conscience charges, I decided to overlook this guilty feeling, while we were able to taste our little brunch and take a break before going to fill the cart with the week's shopping.
