My visit to a 2D Coffee/ Mi visita a un Café 2D
Today, I will share with the beautiful community Cinnamon Cup Coffee, this nice visit to the famous Chinatown of Buenos Aires in Argentina. It is a place where we usually go as a family, for its diversity of gastronomic establishments, supermarkets and a variety of shops with Asian merchandise, among others.
Yesterday, we decided to have breakfast in a beautiful café, whose characteristics are special, and with a spectacular design.
We had once passed by and it was always full, there were even queues to get in, but fortunately our day was yesterday.
The café has a very peculiar name. Coffee 2D. I was amazed, this time, to be able to fully appreciate its very particular design. I can tell you that from the moment I saw its façade, I felt like I was part of a comic strip from the years when I was a young girl.
In fact, when you look at the place as a whole, you can see that it is very small, but the spaciousness recreated by the beautiful drawing of the artist, Marina Fages, is something marvellous. My eyes were mysteriously enchanted with these brushstrokes made with all the professionalism of someone who has also drawn the ambiences of other premises with different designs and styles.
The perspective that can be seen in each element that makes up the images, from various angles, is spectacular. The moment I entered the shop, I opened the glass door and found myself part of a cartoon. Every wall, ceiling, corner, table, chair, lamp, etc. is in black and white.
Very attentively, the girl invited us to sit down and we were free to choose our seat. As we sat down and read the menu, we ordered two coffees and two desserts. As I followed the girl's gaze, I noticed that to the right of the bar, there was a "staircase", which seemed to be a staircase to the first floor, but no, there was no other floor. It was the sensation of depth so clear that the drawing is capable of deceiving us.
The feeling of height is also part of the drawing, every detail, walls with curtains, windows with landscapes or well framed pictures, kept me totally distracted and enchanted. The letters, the lines, the beautiful reliefs, etc.
Lines painted freehand, by the right-handed creator of a local style that, of course, is not only in this country, as it originated in South Korea, and was known for its wide dissemination on social networks. I understand that in Buenos Aires there is another similar one, supposedly in San Telmo. I'm sure I'll try to find it, because I haven't seen any real references yet, so it will be a must visit. If anyone knows of its existence, please let me know in the comments box of this post.
Our long awaited order arrived. My son, @opyavi, had ordered a Ham and Cheese Croissant, plus a Caramelo latte. As you can see from the menu, the cost is 2,900 pesos and the latte is 2,600 Argentine pesos. The café con leche I had and a chocolate brownie with Nutella cost, respectively, 2,300 and 3,000. The total expenditure was 10,800 Argentine pesos, something like 10 dollars at the exchange rate. And of course we tipped the girl for her kind attention.

The coffee, with milk that I ordered, was delicious and very creamy. I don't usually put any kind of sugar in it. That's how you can appreciate when a coffee is of good quality and preparation. My coffee was great. In addition, I accompanied it with a rich Nutella brownie and Oreo cookie, which gave the dessert a crunchy touch. As for the Caramel cold coffee, it also had a delicious touch that contrasted with the caramel and made it more appetizing, I know, because I tasted my son Likewise, the Croissant, very soft and warm. We were delighted with the richness of our coffees.
In the following image you can appreciate the beauty of the artistic drawing, a chandelier, the vintage wall clock, the ornaments, the stylish lamp and the beautiful hanging matero. Everything made me travel back in time. Certainly with the chairs and tables decorated in that style, there were moments of great imagination and fantasy, while sipping that rich coffee.
With the view towards the back of the store, there are the refrigerators and counters, where the desserts and refreshments offered to the clientele are well arranged. In the background you can see the "Via Viva" promenade. This promenade was inaugurated in April 2023.

I left the Café 2D, delighted with the ambiance,
the attention of the staff, the delicious coffees and desserts, in short, very satisfied, although the prices were a little high, compared to the other places, but it was worth the pleasure. I was able to observe that in this tourist place there is free price competition among the stores, that is to say, you consume where and how you can. "In your decision, is your choice".

Hoy, compartiré con la hermosa comunidad Cinnamon Cup Coffee, esta linda visita por el famoso Barrio Chino de Buenos Aires en Argentina. Es un lugar al que solemos ir en familia, por su diversidad de locales gastronómicos, supermercados y variedad de tiendas con mercadería de origen asiático, entre otros.
El día de ayer, decidimos desayunar en un hermoso café, cuyas características son especiales, y con un diseño espectacular.
Les cuento que alguna vez habíamos pasado cerca y siempre estaba lleno, inclusive hacían filas para entrar, pero afortunadamente nuestro día era ayer.
El café tiene un nombre muy peculiar. Café 2D. Me llenó de asombro, esta vez, poder apreciar completamente su diseño tan particular. Les digo que desde que aprecié su fachada, me sentí como parte de una tira cómica de los años en que era una jovencita.
De hecho, al mirar el local en conjunto, se nota que es muy pequeño, pero la amplitud allí se recrea, mediante el hermoso dibujo de la artista, Marina Fages, es algo maravilloso. Mis ojos fueron misteriosamente encantados con esas pinceladas realizadas con todo el profesionalismo, de quien también ha dibujado los ambientes de otros locales con diversos diseños y estilos.
La perspectiva que se aprecia en cada elemento que conforma las imágenes, desde varios ángulos, es espectacular. Al momento de ingresar al local, abrí la puerta de vidrio y me encontré formando parte de una historieta. Cada pared, techo, rincón, mesas, sillas, lámparas, etc., está en blanco y negro.
Muy atentamente, la chica, nos invitó a sentarnos y pudimos elegir el lugar libremente. Al tomar asiento, y leer el menú, ordenamos dos cafés y dos postres. Cuando sigo con la mirada a la chica, me doy cuenta de que a la derecha de la barra, hay una "escalera" que, parecía ser realmente una escalera para subir al segundo piso, pero no, no había otro piso. Era la sensación de profundidad tan clara que tiene el dibujo, capaz de engañarnos.
La sensación de altura también forma parte del dibujo, cada detalle, paredes con cortinas, ventanas con paisajes o cuadros bien enmarcados, me mantuvieron totalmente distraída y encantada. Las letras, las líneas, los hermosos relieves, etc.
Líneas pintadas a mano alzada, por la diestra creadora de un estilo de local que, por supuesto, no solo está en este país, pues es originario de Corea del Sur, y fue conocido por su gran difusión en las redes sociales. Tengo entendido, que en Buenos Aires existe otro similar, supuestamente quedaría en San Telmo. Seguro lo trataré de ubicar, porque aún no he visto referencias ciertas, así que será una visita obligada. Si alguno conoce de su existencia, por favor me lo hace saber en la caja de comentarios de este post.
Llegó nuestro ansiado pedido. Mi hijo, @opyavi, había ordenado un Croissant de Jamón y Queso, más un café latte Caramelo. Como pueden apreciar en el menú, el costo es de 2.900 pesos y el café latte en 2.600 pesos argentinos. El café con leche que yo me tomé y un brownie de chocolate con Nutella, costaron, 2.300 y 3.000, respectivamente. El gasto total fue de 10.800 pesos Ar, algo así como 10 dólares al cambio. Y por supuesto que le dimos una propina a la chica por su gentil atención.

El café, con leche que pedí, estaba delicioso y muy cremoso. No acostumbro ponerle ningún tipo de azúcar. De esa manera es como se puede apreciar cuando un café es de buena calidad y preparación. Mi café estuvo genial. Además, lo acompañé con un rico brownie de Nutella y galleta Oreo, lo que le dio el toque crocante al postre. En cuanto al café frío de Caramelo, también tenía un toque delicioso que contrastaba con el caramelo y lo hacía más apetecible, Me consta, pues probé el de mi hijo. Asimismo, el Croissant, muy suave y calentito. Quedamos encantados con lo rico de nuestros cafés.
En la siguiente imagen pueden apreciar la belleza del dibujo artístico, un candelabro, el reloj de pared vintage, los adornos, la lámpara de estilo y el hermoso matero colgante. Todo me hizo viajar en el tiempo. Ciertamente con las sillas y mesas decoradas en ese estilo, hubo momentos de mucha imaginación y fantasía, mientras tomaba ese rico café.
Con la visión hacia el fondo del local, están las heladeras y mostradores, donde están bien dispuestos los postres y refrescos que ofrecen a la clientela. Al fondo se ve, el paseo "Vía Viva". Este paseo fue inaugurado en abril, de 2023
Es una propuesta gastronómica, con visión de futuro. Desde su inauguración, se han sumado una gran variedad de franquicias y tiendas de diversos rubros. Es un proyecto ambicioso. Si deseas conocer más sobre este hermoso paseo, visita este link.
Me retiré del Café 2D, encantada con la ambientación, la atención del personal, los deliciosos cafés y postres, en fin, muy satisfecha, aunque los precios estaban un poco elevados, en comparación con los otros locales, pero valió el gusto. Pude observar, que en este lugar turístico existe la libre competencia de precios, entre los comercios, es decir, tú consumes dónde y como puedas. En tu decisión, está tu elección.
