My experience at ExpoFan, 2025/Mi experiencia en la ExpoFan, 2025

Friends, ExpoFan has arrived at Avellaneda Station, in Buenos Aires. We were waiting for it. This year it arrived with news... I have seen that new stands were added, with figures made with 3D printers. This time, it is noticeable that they have grown and improved their printing works. So everyone adds their own personal touch. Also, there were sculptures made with different doughs or pastes, depending on the sculptor and the colors used, then painted with acrylics. Several stands, where the comics and their heroes were shown. Come on, visit with me this beautiful ExpoFan of manga + comics.

He visto que se agregaron nuevos stands, con figuras hechas con impresoras 3D. Esta vez, se nota que han crecido y mejorado sus trabajos de impresión. Así que cada uno le da su toque personal. También, había esculturas hechas con diferentes masas o pastas, según el escultor y los colores utilizados, luego pintadas con acrílicos. Varios stands, donde se mostraban los cómics y sus héroes. When we arrived at the sheds, because from my house to the Multipurpose Park, it is six blocks, I hesitated to choose. Because they are two huge spaces, where exhibitors bring their best samples for exhibition, advertising and sales. In addition, there were several cosplays, only today I will dedicate this post to the stands present.

![spanish]Cuando llegamos a los galpones, porque desde mi casa hasta el Parque Multipropósito hay seis cuadras, dudé en elegir. Porque son dos espacios enormes, donde los expositores traen sus mejores muestras para exposición, publicidad y venta. Además, había varios cosplays, solo que hoy dedicaré este post a los stands presentes.

As I began my tour, I came across these sculptures of action figures. I love the artwork that this young sculptor does, I couldn't go any deeper, because there were so many people. And just at that moment, they were buying a figure from him. So nothing, I had to continue, because I was starting to enjoy everything I am going to show you.

Me encanta el trabajo artístico que hace este joven escultor, no pude profundizar más, porque había mucha gente. Y justo en ese momento, le estaban comprando una figura. Así que nada, tuve que continuar, porque estaba empezando a disfrutar de todo lo que les voy a mostrar.

I had not seen these at expo 2024. On the tour, I stopped to appreciate this beautiful selection of mugs with images of the favorite characters of young and old. Hellow Kitti, Goku, Sailor Moon, many more, it was crazy. I wanted to take a lot of them home. But in something like this, you have to have willpower to restrain yourself.

Hellow Kitti , Goku, Sailor Moon, muchos más, era una locura. Quería llevarme muchos a casa. Pero en algo como esto, hay que tener fuerza de voluntad para contenerse.

So many things; caps, cards, stickers, clothing, accessories and details such as Ninja Turtles stickers and artwork, Super Mario, Nintendo caps, colorful t-shirts, comic book and popular game figures, Little Pony, etc. Anyway, I stood there for quite a while looking at the tempting merchandise. I really liked this stall.

Me gustó mucho este puesto.

These pictures, with the illustrations and bright background, I imagined them in a special space at home. Especially the Dragon Ball one. Although the next one, Darth Vader, is excellent. All three in one. You could also buy them individually, but I think all three would look better on one wall. It would be great.

Los tres en uno. También se podían comprar individuales, pero a mí me parecen que mejor quedarían los tres en una sola pared. Sería estupendo.

This stand was the tip of the bottle, as we say in my land, because what was there was a small store for those who like to collect antique iron carts, comic dolls, earrings, figures and sculptures much sought after by regular visitors to the Ciruja fair like us. My children are looking for their toys, comics, video games, consoles, retro culture, and me, mine and my best times. So we are always at hand. This is a vice, frankly speaking.

![spanish]Este stand era la punta del frasco, como decimos en mi tierra, porque lo que había era una pequeña tienda para los que les gusta coleccionar carros antiguos de hierro, muñecos de cómic, pendientes, figuras y esculturas muy buscadas por los visitantes habituales de la feria Ciruja como nosotros. Mis hijos buscan sus juguetes, cómics, videojuegos, consolas, cultura retro, y yo, los míos y de mis mejores tiempos. Así que siempre estamos a mano. Esto es un vicio, francamente hablando.

In this one, we can see the beautiful work they did with the 3D printers. You can see that it has been well-thought-out and professional. The colors are beautiful, and very clean. To the eye, they look like a collector's item. There you have the prices, as you can see they are not so expensive and worth the purchase. For my taste, they would not be the favorites, but there are many customers looking for the most famous Pokémon. I like them in other material, but the truth is that these are great.

A la vista, lucen como para coleccionarlos. Allí tienen los precios, como ven no son tan costosos y vale la pena la compra. Para mi gusto, no serían los favoritos, pero hay mucha clientela que busca los Pokémon más famosos. A mí me gustan en otro material, pero la verdad estos le quedaron de diez.

As you can see in the previous image, it is self-explanatory. There are many cards that in order to buy them we would have to ask luck to accompany us and that is why it is not feasible for me.

These two images show us figures representing Argentine singers and composers, such as Luis Alberto Spinetta and Gustavo Cerati: Luis Alberto Spinetta and Gustavo Cerati, video figures, other famous artists, and the cool thing about these figures is that they were also made with a printer. For me, they looked fantastic, and I would like to have at least one at home.

Para mí quedaron fantásticas y me gustaría tener, al menos, una en casa.

In the image above, we see the stand, where the two protagonists of a game that left its mark on many minds stand out. The incredible Mortal Combat, who does not remember it?

The following images show us well-designed and carved sculptures with the skill of the artist and his inspiration. The realism that is noted in the movements and details of the bodies, is phenomenal. As well as the colors used for each character.

In the background, we see Dark Vider, majestic and with the pose that characterizes him. And the other well-known characters that one day left their mark in our minds, through their emblematic series and movies.

The last image of the sculptures, is something brutal, but it is what the artist wanted to represent. Something bloody, and that is not commonly seen, but in horror games.

I end my long post, hoping that you liked everything I presented to you. I thank the community @theanimerealm, for their responsiveness. I imagine that it was very long in images, but there were really a lot of them. I feel that in this ExpoFan, the exhibitors stood out and there were a lot of sales, because the two sheds where the exhibitors were, were filled with visitors, looking for a souvenir at least. On the outskirts of the sheds, there were people selling food, soft drinks, ice cream, beer, hot dogs, barbecue, juices, etc. So I left satisfied with what I saw this year.

Agradezco a la comunidad @theanimerealm, por su receptividad.Imagino que se hizo muy largo en imágenes, pero realmente eran muchísimas. Siento que en esta Expo-Fan, se destacaron los expositores y hubo mucha venta, porque los dos galpones donde estaban los expositores, se llenaron de visitantes, en busca de llevarse un recuerdo al menos. En las afueras de los galpones, estaban los que venden comida, refrescos, helados, cervezas, panchos, asados, jugos, etc. Así que me fui satisfecha por lo que vi este año.
