Las esculturas que vi, ¿a quién representan? // [ESP-ENG]

Amigos de @hiveargentina, como es bien sabido por quienes me conocen, siempre estoy visitando exposiciones que tienen que ver con el arte en sus diversas representaciones. Sobre todo cuando se trata de figuras de comics, manga u otro tipo de esculturas. En este caso, encontré una serie de figuras, elaboradas con diferente tipo de material, o técnicas. Lo que las une sin ser idénticas es la caracterización del personaje. Ahora, brevemente, les explico qué representa cada una de las que seleccioné.

Especially when it comes to comic book figures, manga, or other types of sculptures. In this case, I found a series of figures made with different materials or techniques. What unites them, without being identical, is the characterization of the character. Now, I'll briefly explain what each of the ones I selected represents.

ROBOTCOPP
(Alex Murphy)

Entre las esculturas que encontré estaba la de uno de mis policías favoritos, y no pude resistirme a fotografiarlo. RoboCop fue una película de 1987 que se hizo famosa por su interesante protagonista. Un policía de Detroit llamado Alex Murphy murió en acto de servicio y, gracias a los avances en la ciberciencia robótica, se convirtió en un cíborg. El robot, de aspecto humano, solo tenía cara y cerebro, lo que, por desgracia, le hacía sufrir, mientras que el resto de su cuerpo se convirtió en una lata... Me encantó la película y la serie.

![ingles]Among the sculptures I found was one of my favorite police officers, and I couldn't resist photographing it. RoboCop was a 1987 film that became famous for its interesting main character. A Detroit police officer named Alex Murphy was killed in the line of duty, and with the advances in robotic cyberscience, he was turned into a cyborg. The robot, human-like, had only a face and a brain, which, unfortunately, made him suffer, while the rest of his body was turned into a tin can... I loved the movie and the TV series.

EL ETERNAUTA
(Héctor Germán Oesterheld)

La figura del Eternauta, me pareció, que aunque está en pleno apogeo y en su mejor momento, no podía dejar de mostrarla. Es una historieta de ciencia-ficción, donde la ciudad de Buenos Aires, es invadida por una gran nube de nieve tóxica y a partir de ese acontecimiento, comienzan a suceder cosas terribles. Hay una familia, que desde una ventana, observa lo que ocurre… Es un verdadero éxito, los invito a verla, no puedo contar más.

![ingles]The character of the Eternaut, I felt, even though it's in full swing and at its best, couldn't be left out. It's a science-fiction comic where the city of Buenos Aires is invaded by a huge cloud of toxic snow, and from that moment on, terrible things begin to happen. There's a family watching from a window what's happening... It's a real hit. I invite you to see it; I can't say more.

STAR WARS
(Darth Vader)

Acá vemos al personaje de Darth Vader, imagen y semejanza del dictador Adolf Hitler, blandiendo su espada de luz, cuyo traje fue inspirado en una armadura Samurái, con su casco al mejor estilo alemán, por cierto. Son figuras emblemáticas que, a simple vista, se nota, que forman parte importante de la famosísima saga, The Star Wars, creada por George de Lucca y que un 25 de mayo en 1977, fue lanzada por primera vez al mundo. Ha sido una verdadera revolución en todas sus presentaciones, películas, series, anime, manga, etc. Estas figuras me encantaron.

CABALLEROS DEL ZODIACO
(Camus de Acuario)

Es la figura, de uno de los caballeros del Zodíaco. Los Caballeros del Zodíaco o Saint Seiya, es una serie, creada por Masami Kurumada. Jóvenes guerreros, cuyo fin es proteger a la reencarnación de la diosa Athena, y evitar que la tierra sea destruida por las fuerzas del mal. Los caballeros de mayor rango dentro de la serie serían: Shiryu de Dragón, Hyōga de Cisne, Shun de Andrómeda, Ikki de Fénix. Saori Kido (Athena)

SPIDERMAN
(Miles)

Ahora verán al tercer Spider-Man. Es Miles Morales, de Marvel Comics. Este otro hombre araña, es creación de Brian Michael y Sara Pichella, en 2011. Sus poderes son los mismos que los de Peter Parker, pero tiene uno que hace a diferencia. Se vuelve invisible. Esto tampoco le hace más poderoso que el Hombre Araña, número uno. Sus habilidades son muchas, eso sí, tiene fuerza, velocidad y resistencia.

His abilities are many, yes, he has strength, speed, and endurance.

MULTIVERSO
(Superman)

Esta figura, representa a un Superman del multiverso. Recordemos que multiverso es algo que pudiera existir, más allá de lo evidente, como diría Lion-O, en ThunderCats.
El multiverso ha sido aprovechado por las compañías cinematográficas para sacarle mucho provecho a las figuras de los cómics. En este caso, tenemos la figura de un Superman con atuendo diferente al que conocemos, un rostro maduro y además con barba. Siendo que nunca vi a un Superman con barba, para mí, siempre fue lampiño. En resumen, quienes sacaron provecho de los multiversos, han sido, DC Comics, y El Universo cinematográfico de Marvel. Ellos crearon otras dimensiones alternativas, para convertirse en los más famosos creadores de los mundos u otras dimensiones, paralelas al mundo real.

The multiverse has been exploited by film companies to greatly benefit from comic book figures. In this case, we have the figure of a Superman with a different outfit than the one we know, a mature face, and a beard. Although I've never seen a Superman with a beard, for me, he always seemed clean-shaven. In short, those who profited from the multiverses were DC Comics and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They created other alternate dimensions, becoming the most famous creators of worlds or other dimensions parallel to the real world.
