Con motivo del "Día del Veterano y de los Caídos en la Guerra de Malvinas", rindo este homenaje a través de la poesía, a quienes con su acción heroica, forjada a costa de su propio sacrificio y el de sus familias, marcharon un día, en pos de la defensa de la Soberanía de su querida Argentina.

Frío mármol, repleto de nombres
Crudos recuerdos, evocación, reflexión
Resguardo y transmisión memorial
Tensiones, fortaleza y guerra
Cenotafio a la espera de honores

Niños jugando a la guerra
Rumbo a lo desconocido
Inexpertos, soldados sumisos
Aviones, navíos, cañones y balas
Tan solo Dios y su argentinidad

Excombatientes, soldados caídos,
Madres y esposas, hermanos e hijos
Testigos de guerra, orgullo silencioso
Visión de patriota, justicia divina
confiada en Dios, no hay causa perdida

Las fotografías fueron capturadas con mi teléf. Samsung, A-12, desde las pantallas de la televisión Nacional, en ocasión del homenaje que se realizó el día 02/04/2024, desde el cenotafio, donde colocaron ofrendas florales, en honor a los caídos en batalla, por los excombatientes, los familiares y la presidencia de la Nación.

On the occasion of the "Day of the Veteran and the Fallen in the Malvinas War", I pay this tribute through poetry, to those who with their heroic action, forged at the cost of their own sacrifice and that of their families, marched one day, in pursuit of the defence of the Sovereignty of their beloved Argentina.

Cold marble, full of names
Crude memories, evocation, reflection
Safeguard and memorial transmission
Tensions, fortress and war
Cenotaph awaiting honours

Children playing war
Heading into the unknown
Inexperienced, submissive soldiers
Planes, ships, cannons and bullets
Only God and his Argentinianness

"Honour to whom honour is due".

Ex-combatants, fallen soldiers,
Mothers and wives, brothers and sons
Witnesses of war, silent pride
Patriot's vision, divine justice
Trust in God, there is no lost cause

The photographs were taken with my Samsung A-12 phone from the screens of the National Television, on the occasion of the homage that took place on 02/04/2024, from the cenotaph, where floral offerings were placed in honour of the fallen in combat, by the ex-combatants, their families and the Presidency of the Nation.
