Hoy van a conocer a mi artista ingenua. La que hoy, a sus 96 años, sigue con el afán de pintar para darse a conocer al mundo, a través de sus obras. Mamá, ha sido cuatro veces expositora en salones de arte y algunas galerías donde ha sido invitada. Ella vive lejos de mí, pero muy cerquita de mi corazón. Decidí escribir un poema, pues ella siempre ha sido mi musa. Ahora verán una serie de platos de cerámica, hechos por ella misma, con su horno y barbotina,y finalmente los pintó con imágenes sacras como La Virgen de su ciudad natal, La Divina Pastora, San Pablo, ermitaño, el Santo de la Parroquia, el frente de la alcaldía donde trabajó durante su juventud, unas hermosas flores, y una bella tortuguita. Ella desea continuar pintando, aunque en este momento, la adquisición de los materiales para sus pinturas, se le hace cuesta arriba. Aun así, dice que va a continuar pintando. Espero les guste el homenaje para mi artista Naif, favorita.

Tienes el don que define, tu ingenua visión del mundo
Tus manos irradian luces, cuando acarician los lienzos
En tus pensamientos llevas, imágenes increíbles
Pinceladas espontáneas, trazan líneas a tu antojo
Sin perspectivas ni reglas, solo tu creación evocas
Te inspiras, casi con nada, la musa para ti es todo
Cierras tus ojos y emergen, ideas multicolores
Cuadros sencillos y simples, exentos de nimiedades
Contrastas con la belleza, las líneas que te recrean
Te paseas al pasado, evocando travesuras
Marcando tu paso agreste, para perpetuar tus huellas
Imágenes sacrosantas, jardines, flores y nubes
Las calles donde creciste, floreros y formas vivas
Tu estilo naif me enamora, me atrapa tu arte infantil
Mi niña grande te adoro, mi artista, mi gran tesoro
Sigue trazando caminos, tu arte no tendrá fin.

Today you are going to meet my naïve artist. The one who today, at the age of 96, continues with her eagerness to paint in order to make herself known to the world through her works. Mum, she has exhibited four times in art salons and some galleries where she has been invited. She lives far away from me, but very close to my heart. I decided to write a poem, as she has always been my muse. Now you will see a series of ceramic plates, made by herself, with her kiln and barbotina, and finally she painted them with sacred images like the Virgin of her hometown, La Divina Pastora, San Pablo, hermit, the saint of the parish, the front of the town hall where she worked during her youth, some beautiful flowers, and a beautiful little turtle. She wants to continue painting, although at the moment, acquiring the materials for her paintings is a difficult task. Even so, she says she will continue to paint. I hope you like the tribute to my favourite Naif artist.

You have the defining gift, your naïve vision of the world.
Your hands radiate lights, when they caress the canvases
In your thoughts you carry, incredible images
Spontaneous brushstrokes, trace lines at your whim
Without perspectives or rules, you evoke only your creation
You get inspired, with almost nothing, the muse is everything to you
You close your eyes and multicoloured ideas emerge
Simple and plain pictures, exempt from trifles
You contrast with the beauty, the lines that recreate you
You wander into the past, evoking mischief
Marking your wild step, to perpetuate your footprints
Sacrosanct images, gardens, flowers and clouds
The streets where you grew up, vases and living shapes
Your naive style makes me fall in love, your childish art traps me
My big girl I adore you, my artist, my great treasure
Keep on blazing trails, your art will never end
