Why You should Say No..... (The power of saying No)

Good evening dear friends.Welcome to another week of Hive reachout weekly Prompt Week 62. I am @ntul001, and I am happy to be here this week to express myself and how I feel towards this week's prompt.Well, this is a new week, and it comes with a lot of goodies. It is also a chance to share our views and perspectives towards the weekly prompt. And this week’s theme is about the power of saying No.
For me, I will begin to say No to anything in life that does not align with my purpose. Saying No is not just a response it is a skill. It is something that can be acquired, and it really needs to be acquired. It should be taken into consideration by all humans by all genders, by every class of people, the high, the low, and the middle class.

I call it a tool for success. Yes, No is a tool for success. Because whenever you say yes to everything, it automatically becomes a no to something else. For example, if I say No to distractions, then I am saying Yes to my goals and to hard work. The problem is that most people compromise this power of No. They don’t want to use it because they are afraid people will look at them as being selfish, selfcentered, or unfriendly. They want to please everybody, and in the process, they lose themselves.

But on the other hand, I see this from the perspective of leadership. I have been fortunate to serve as a leader in some organizations, including church organizations like the choir. And I can tell you, if you don’t have the strength to say No, then things will become complicated. You cannot discipline people if you cannot say No as a leader. You must sometimes frown at certain incidents or occurrences not because you hate the person, but because you must stand for what is right. And this discipline begins from the closest circle. You must learn how to say No to those around you, even to your closest people, before you can use it effectively outside. Not because of privileges or favoritism, but because No should be part of you.

Saying No sets your philosophy. It sets your pattern. It tells people what you stand for and what you cannot accept. It makes your boundaries clear. And until there is a strong force of that No within you, your principles will always be shaky.
This No power is not something that you can just activate most times you can compromise but always look for a way to return it to normal .

It is a day to day activity because the persons you met yesterday will be different that will becoming subsequently. Most times When we receive No as an answer from some people we in turn feel their wicked or because you're not related to them but their just trying to be fair and also do what is right If we begin to check critically corruption has encrouched into some systems because people at the top can't say no when they out to,they twist the system to favour thesemelves while others suffer because they don't have anyone to stand for them.
Some persons see others that stand on their ground for the truth as shrimps,Gold diggers, wicked souls, enemies of progress.

Why I bring this is to let us know The power of saying No comes with a fight most times and people may not like you.
So don't just say No harshly but look for a nice manner and approach to do it. This is my candid advise So you all at the blue side...
