Today, let's talk about water pollution. Many of the illnesses we experience are linked to what we consume, especially water. Contaminated water is a major contributing factor to frequent cases of malaria and typhoid.
So, what is water pollution?
Water pollution refers to the contamination of water bodies by the introduction of harmful substances. These water bodies include lakes, streams, rivers, oceans, and groundwater.
Some common causes of water pollution include industrial waste, agricultural runoff, oil spills, plastic, and other solid waste.
Effects of water pollution include:
The death of aquatic life
Health problems in humans
Scarcity of clean and safe water.

Fine, but what do we do about it, if no one wants to sacrifice comfort to save the planet from a compromising future for new generations?
Well, that's one problem we are facing , even in my area, you see people throwing waste in the gutter and that might move straight to the water bodies.
So it's left for all of us to be intentional.
