Val gone wrong

‎Although I don't really celebrate this valentine or tale it as anything serious, I have some friends who make a big deal out of this very day. For some people the day will end with joy and some in premium tears. Let me start with my recent experience that happened to my neighbor a year ago.

‎The guy and his beb were both living together in our compound, very serious love birds. They were both too righteous to themselves, but me I knew they were both cheating too, but since nothing concern me and I no dey to like put mouth for person love matter, I just quietly mind my business.
‎On the almighty valentine day, the guy and the beb had planned to celebrate the val indoors and do a house party. When the guy told me about his idea, to me it was a very nice idea 😂, I encouraged him to go ahead, knowing that at least I will benefit, eat the cake and drink since I didn't have anywhere to go. Single 😂, also couple with the fact that it was a week day, so I came back from work a bit late, and I was exhausted, so there was no plan to go anywhere.

‎We were expecting the party to start by 7 or 7:30pm, but at about 6:30pm my neighbor's girlfriend had dressed up and stepped out, when the guy came back with the cake and drinks, the best was no where to be found. The guy called her, and she said that she just stepped out to buy something, that she is coming back soon. It was already to 8 by this time. Personally, I knew that it might end in premium tears, because how can a young lady be so beautifully dressed just to go and buy something. It was already past 8 and we were still expecting her. I knew the thing will not work, but for the sake of the innocent cake and drink, make e ko for waste, I told my guy, that we should start drinking and having a taste of the cake since his beb was already on the road coming. I told him we should make the house fun and lively so that she comes in to meet the energy and vibes. The idea was okay for him. Omor I ate the cake with my full chest, knowing that the beb had gone out to flex with another guy. It was already past 9pm and the guy was getting so confused and nervous. I could see it in his face, but e no too too concern me, because my major objective was the cake and drink. The guy kept call and at a point the girl didn't pick up and later her phone went off. Party scatter, my guy left us in the room, went in search of the beb. I believe he had suspected somewhere or maybe got information from the girl's friend.

‎When I was done, I left to my room, around 12am, I was inside my room when I heard noise In the compound, they were quarrelling. The guy had gone to get the Ben drunk with another guy. I think they exchanged a little blow before she brought the beb back home. It was not funny the following day. But I had to laugh.

‎How they settled it, was their business.
