I see a man trying to fix something with his dog beside him.

I feel he is a plumber and is trying to fix a tap in the kitchen.

Mr. Ben has a pet dog that he goes out with all the time. So on a Wednesday morning, he had a plumbing job to do and had to leave early without his dog.

As the work was going on, he saw his dog arriving. How the dog managed to know his location shocked him, but he was happy seeing the dog, and the dog kept him company till he was done with the work.

Short and clear but I wonder about the "pet dog" aren't all animals we keep, domesticated pets?
