The other counter

That morning I left the house very hungry for church without eating, because we were always asked to leave on time so as to attend Sunday school early.
Unlike other days I was extremely hungry and my prayer was for church to dismiss quickly so that I could go home to eat. My mind was no longer in the church, so immediately after the message I got the key from my elder brother and ran back home.
When I arrived, I rushed to the kitchen to check the counter where we usually kept food, but lo and behold there was no food. I was angry and had to wait another hour before my brother came home and told me that the food was in the other counter at the store not the kitchen.
