‎In school money is not always enough, because on daily basis there are always a lot of things to do, bills to pay and things to photocopy. You may have some cash today , but how it manage to finish is what you can't really explain.

‎Normally there are different means and ways that we can use to survive as students. One of it is having some skills , that skill alone can save your life in school and give you some cash even when you didn't expect. Before I left for school I use to play musical instruments at events for people and get paid. At times I will go with my friends, we coordinate ourselves and work as a band team and deliver get paid and we share the money amongst ourselves. And that alone use to give me some cash because to me it was like a side hustle.

‎I kept doing that as part of my survival strategy till my year 2 and I realized that it was taking much of my time. So I had to stop it. But at a point it was somehow difficult, but as a Nigerian I sailed through.

I remember one exams day that I came back home lay on the floor and I was carefully looking at my ceiling because I was seriously hungry. What really happened, I had some money on me when I left the house in the morning, but while in school something happened that I had to empty my account and use the little money I had there including my savings to sort out the issue. Then I went back home confused.

‎But I still had to restrategize means of surviving but cutting my coat according to my clothes and do away with some unnecessary expenses.
