Saturday is always a busy day for me, as usual, because of house chores like cleaning up, fetching water, washing, going to the market, cooking, etc. But today, I spent it with my Rotaract family.

Rotaract clubs bring together people aged 18 and above to exchange ideas with community leaders, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service. In communities worldwide, Rotary and Rotaract members work side by side to take action through service. Source

In Rotaract, we carry out a project every month as part of our contribution to society. January is always the Vocational Service Month, but since we could not hold the event in January due to reasons beyond our control, we decided to move it to this month and scheduled it for the 8th of February. A flyer was published to create awareness.

For our Vocational Service project, we took time to train people (both Rotaractors and non-Rotaractors) in different vocational skills. Today, we conducted training on Chin Chin production, makeup, business coaching, etc. It was fun and interactive as we sang different Rotaract songs, drank, ate the Chin Chin we made, and learned at the same time. Check out the picture below.

After the event, I rushed straight to the market, bought some foodstuffs, went back home, cooked, ate, and had some rest.
Indeed, it was a stressful but fulfilling Saturday.

I am @nsigo1, and that is my Saturday diary. Tell me about yours!
