FUNNY EXAMS DAY

Back then in my university days, some examination periods were always funny while others could be very annoying. I remember one particularly funny experience during one of our GST examinations.

You know how those subjective GST exams are always confusing, sometimes you find yourself searching for your friend to tell you some answers while you also try to tell your friend yours, but you must be very careful because if you are caught you will surely face the consequences.

On that day, lecturers from our second campus were sent to invigilate the examination in our own campus. Their faces were not familiar to us and because they were still young, you could even mistake them for students. We started the examination late and at a point they wanted to collect the scripts before the proper time. The hall suddenly became rowdy, students were running around, looking for what to write while the lecturers were angrily collecting scripts and even chasing students.

I had two unanswered questions, so I stood up and rushed to the front. On my way, one of the lecturers was approaching me but I thought he was a student. As he came closer, I asked him how far he had gone with question number eight. To my greatest surprise, he looked at me and said, “Bring your script.” That was the moment I realized he was actually a lecturer. Ah, I took off again in shock, while everyone in the hall burst into laughter.

That day still remains one of the funniest exam experiences in the history of my higher institution.
