FRIENDSHIP

Truly, school is not just about attending classes, carrying out practicals, and completing academic work. In school, we meet friends who mean a lot to us even after graduation, and some of them may become our business partners or colleagues at work.
Friendship is a powerful and essential part of the human experience. It transcends age, race, gender, and social status, and it has the potential to positively impact our lives in numerous ways. The friends we make and keep throughout our lives have the power to shape who we are, support us through challenging times, and inspire us to be better individuals.
I have a friend I met back in my higher institution days, Itohowo, a cool and kind guy. I think we first met during one of the physics practicals in the laboratory, and he was in my department. That was how our friendship began. It grew over time, especially as we approached our teaching practice, and coincidentally, we were assigned to the same school. Not only did we serve in the same school, we also rented an apartment and stayed together until the end of our teaching practice. At a point, people started calling us brothers, and indeed, he became a brother from another mother.
After graduation, we went for our service at different locations. Upon returning, we started working in the same place again and stayed together for about a year, until God blessed us with new appointments in another location, which led us to get separate apartments due to the work location.

Despite this, we are still growing together and achieving a lot side by side. He is one person who always responds whenever I call. Indeed, school is not just for studying, but also a place where you can make lifelong friends who will benefit you and your career even after school.
