Mr. Kalu was a rich and famous man. He had been working in the banking sector for years and had acquired a lot of wealth, properties, and cars. He decided to get married, and indeed his wife was a beautiful lady, calm and humble. She was submissive to her husband, and everything was going fine.

One day, Mr. Kalu was at work when he saw a group of people walking in. They asked for the manager and went to have a lengthy discussion. Mr. Kalu did not know that the bank was folding up. Two days later, the manager called for a meeting and informed all the staff about the recent development. Everyone was sad, but there was nothing they could do. Mr. Kalu went back home in a bad mood. Later that evening, he informed his wife about what had happened. She was not happy but had no choice but to comfort him and offer words of encouragement.

The family kept moving on, but after three months of job hunting with no positive outcome, Mr. Kalu became frustrated. He had started using up all his savings, and it seemed his wife was becoming the breadwinner of the family. Four months went by, and his wife began to misbehave. Her level of respect dropped, and she started speaking to her husband disrespectfully. The love and bond that once existed in the family were fading. Some days, Mr. Kalu would go out and sit with friends until late at night just to calm his mind.

One day, when he came back from job hunting, he noticed that his house was empty. Only a few of his clothes were left in the wardrobe. At first, he thought he was dreaming, but it was the painful reality. He turned to his right and saw a note on a small sheet of paper placed on the side stool. His wife had written a message telling him to continue with his life because she could no longer go on with him. Mr. Kalu wept bitterly. He knew he had no choice but to move on and trust that God would come through for him.

On a fateful day, he came back hungry, tired, and filled with frustration. His mind was weighed down with thoughts of his overdue rent. That night, he cried himself to sleep. The following morning, he woke up and noticed a message icon blinking on his phone. He decided to check it, and after reading the message, he screamed with joy. The company he had applied to had offered him a job. He was to resume work in two days, with a salary five times higher than what he earned in his previous job. They also promised to provide him with an official car. It was a joyful moment. He had woken up to the best news of his life.
