A home is never complete without a comfortable restroom or convenience. The toilet is a critical part of a house. It is an important part of the house people look out for before renting a house.

The clean nature of anyone's home is determined majorly by the neatness of the toilet. Even though we do not spend more time in the restroom, the few minutes spent there can determine a lot and affect our health and lifestyle.

The toilet if left unkempt can become a habitat for all forms of dangerous and harmful micro-organisms including reptiles. The foul smell that comes out from the toilet is an indication of a dirty toilet. Using a dirty toilet poses a high risk of coming down with infections which can eventually cause serious health complications if left untreated.

Personally, I consider my restroom as a delicate part of my house. I consciously put in efforts to ensure it is clean and neat at all times. Washing my toilet for me is something I do almost every two days.

Items I Use in Toilet Cleaning

I have several cleaning agents and materials I always keep at home, and I make sure I don’t run out of them:

**Toilet Brush **– very important as it goes deep into the different and hidden corners of the water cistern because we can't use our hand and other materials may not be effective.

Bleach – essential for cleaning stubborn dirt and killing certain micro-organisms present. I usually apply a quantity to the cistern.

Detergent – helps accelerate the cleaning process. The detergent I use also has a perfume which leaves my toilet sparkling with a nice fragrance.

Antiseptics and Others – additional agents that ensure maximum cleanliness and hygiene.

Steps I Follow in Toilet Cleaning

🚽I wash my toilet almost every two days using the brush, detergent, and bleach.

🚽I apply bleach to the cistern to target stubborn dirt and micro-organisms.

🚽I use detergent for proper scrubbing and a refreshing fragrance.

🚽I make sure not to concentrate only on the water cistern but also pay equal attention to other parts.

Sometimes while cleaning the restroom, some people may concentrate on the water cistern and neglect the floor and the walls. This partial cleaning may not yield the required results, as the corners of the walls and floors can harbor a lot of bacteria.
Therefore, I thoroughly scrub the floor and wall tiles with a different brush, detergent, and bleach to bring out their shiny nature.
Clean the wash hand basins or sinks to ensure overall neatness.

Un hogar nunca está completo sin un baño o servicio cómodo. El inodoro es una parte fundamental de una casa. Es un aspecto importante que la gente observa antes de alquilar una vivienda.

La limpieza de cualquier hogar se determina en gran medida por la pulcritud del inodoro. Aunque no pasamos mucho tiempo en el baño, los pocos minutos que permanecemos allí pueden determinar mucho y afectar nuestra salud y estilo de vida.

Si el inodoro se deja sucio, puede convertirse en un hábitat de todo tipo de micro-organismos peligrosos y dañinos, incluyendo reptiles. El mal olor que sale del baño es una clara señal de suciedad. Usar un inodoro sucio conlleva un alto riesgo de contraer infecciones que eventualmente pueden causar graves complicaciones de salud si no se tratan.

En lo personal, considero mi baño como una parte delicada de mi casa. Me esfuerzo conscientemente por mantenerlo limpio y ordenado en todo momento. Lavar el inodoro, para mí, es algo que hago casi cada dos días.

Siempre tengo en casa varios agentes y materiales de limpieza, y me aseguro de no quedarme sin ellos:

Cepillo de inodoro – muy importante, ya que llega a las diferentes esquinas ocultas de la cisterna, porque no podemos usar la mano y otros materiales pueden no ser eficaces.

Lejía – esencial para limpiar la suciedad difícil y eliminar ciertos micro-organismos presentes. Normalmente aplico una cantidad en la cisterna.

Detergente – ayuda a acelerar el proceso de limpieza. El detergente que uso también tiene perfume, lo que deja mi inodoro reluciente con una fragancia agradable.

Antisépticos y otros – productos adicionales que garantizan la máxima limpieza e higiene.

Pasos que sigo para limpiar el inodoro

🚽 Lavo mi inodoro casi cada dos días utilizando el cepillo, detergente y lejía.

🚽 Aplico lejía en la cisterna para eliminar la suciedad resistente y los micro-organismos.

🚽 Uso detergente para un buen fregado y un aroma refrescante.

🚽 Me aseguro de no concentrarme solo en la cisterna, sino de prestar igual atención a las demás partes.

A veces, al limpiar el baño, algunas personas se concentran únicamente en la cisterna y descuidan el suelo y las paredes. Esta limpieza parcial puede no dar los resultados necesarios, ya que las esquinas de las paredes y el piso pueden albergar muchas bacterias.
Por eso, froto a fondo las baldosas del suelo y las paredes con un cepillo diferente, detergente y lejía para resaltar su brillo natural.
También limpio los lavabos para garantizar una pulcritud general.
