I wish our schools and colleges had taught us more than just science and math.

I wish they had taught us how to love those who are unloved.

I wish they had taught us that beauty lives in every season, every day, every soul.

You just need eyes that can truly see.

I wish we had learned that caring for your own isn’t a big deal.

But holding a stranger’s hand and lifting them up…
Now that is something.

I wish they had taught us the real difference between a chameleon and a human.

That humans aren’t meant to change their colors.
