Doping In Football
Welcome to the world of sport where unhealthy competitions among athletes has become the order of the day, and the use of energy boosting drugs is now the best friend of most sports personnels. Every athlete wants to stand out and be the best in their field of activities, so am not surprised that most of them have added the use of drugs as their support.

If you have been current about football news and updates, you would discover that recently some few famous football players were penalized and suspended from football activities because they were tested to have used drugs to boost their energy in the field.
Soccer is undoubtedly the biggest sport in the world today, so we are going to use it as a case study in this discussion about drug use in sports. If you are a football lover I believe you would know who Paul Pogba is.
Few years back Paul Pogba and Fred the Brazilian comfortably held the Manchester United midfield in every game. Their strength and endurance in every game was top notch and some fans even accused them of using drugs to boost their energies.
Most fans argued that it was unfair and an act of cheating for some players to boost their energies with drugs and play alongside other players that were performing naturally. The fans were right and I agree with their point of views because it is very unfair for an athlete who takes energy boosting drugs like steroids, stimulants, and other prohibited substances to compete against another athlete who runs round the field with his or her natural energy.
Pogba was one of such footballers that usually takes drug before coming to play with his opponents and it was evident in his extra gas and stamina even after the 90th minute. After the observations and complains from opponents, he was tested to have a high level of testosterone which wasn't natural, and was suspended from playing international football for 4 years.
Most of the sports organizations and Football associations do not support doping because it does not only affect the integrity of the game but it equally poses very severe impact to both the careers and personal lives of the athletes.
I have seen the end products of some WWE wrestlers who used steroids to grow their muscles to be very big and intimidating while they were young, but as the grew older into their 50's and 60's, their muscles became very feeble and loose exactly like a wrapper.
Sometimes the effect of some of these hard drugs might damage very significant organs in the human body. It's just so sad that most of these athlete do not think of the future, and the dangers of their practice, as they are only focused on the present and how they could compete against everybody.
The major reason many athlete go into doping is because they desire to win and be recognized in their various competitive fields of plays. In as much as their desires are good, there would'nt be any balance or truth in the game if this act continues.

In my humble opinion, the issue of doping among athletes is a disrespect to the tradition of sportsmanship. I know that everybody desires to win in whatever competition they engage in, but the best way to achieve that is to train better and give your natural best in every game.
The appropriate authorities should continue to fish out athlete who continues in such acts and punish them accordingly because doping is compromising the joy of natural competition in the sport world. And to think that it is even a threat to the health condition of the athletes.
I appreciate your time around here❤️:-)
I can't imagine if all players used boosters, with which standard would their performance be rated? I agree vehemently that players be refuted for using boosters or enhancers. The health side effects can be damaging also.
lol, that imagination made me chuckle. Players should do better at least for the sake of sportsmanship and also for their their health sake.

In as much as it's important to win and to display prowess in sport, one doesn't need to go extra mile to use drugs to achieve those things, it's makes the game unfair . It's just like they are deceiving their viewers.
Athletes could train better to improve their stamina and endurance, and not to dope and decive the viewers, lol.
