Victor Osimhen has been one of the talked-about Nigerian footballers in the transfer window this summer as the rest transfer saga is happening between the Nigerian, Napoli and Galatasaray. It is no news that Al Hilal were in the race to sign Victor Osimhen this summer, but the Nigerian turned down their offer. The first proposal from Al Hilal was crazy, which Osimhen rejected, and then the Saudi club even brought a bigger offer than the first to convince the player to join the club, but he still refused the second approach by the club.

Al Hilal were ready to pay the 75 million euros in full to Napoli if the Nigerian accepted personal terms with the Saudi club and it just shows that Victor Osimhen was not in for the money as how the media was portraying it to be because if that were to be the case then he would have accepted Al Hilal proposal in their first meeting with his camp. Victor Osimhen was linked with Premier League clubs as Manchester United were in the picture, but there was no concrete update concerning United's approach for Victor Osimhen this summer.

Chelsea were in the picture last summer window, but this summer they weren't in talks with the Nigerian as it looks like the possibility of that move is over. Victor Osimhen made his decision earlier last week that he wants the move to Galatasaray this summer as he has agreed on personal terms with the Turkish club, but there seems to be a little problem with the club-to-club negotiations between Galatasaray and Napoli. Galatasaray wants to pay 70 million euros and split the payment over three years, but Napoli still insists on the 75 million euros and wants guarantees on the payment, so they rejected the 70 million bid.

Galatasaray dropped another bid on the table of that 70 million euros with a guarantee from banks on how the plan is to stretch the payments, but Napoli still didn't accept the proposal from the Turkish club. Today Fabrizio Romano confirmed that club-to-club talks will continue between Napoli and Galatasaray as there is confidence that the deal will reach a close soon. Galatasaray still plans to stretch the payment and would pay the 75 million as the Turkish club will guarantee 40 million euros this summer, then proceed to pay 17.5 million euros next year and 17.5 million euros the following year with a bank guarantee of the payments.

The deal should be sealed this week, and Napoli just wants to guarantee that, and then the official green light will be given. Once this deal is closed, Napoli will continue their pursuit of Darwin Nunez as their plans have not changed for the Uruguayan striker. I am looking forward to the end of the deal to see where Darwin Nunez's exit will possibly lead this summer. So, stay tuned for more updates as they come up; I will share with the community. Thanks again for stopping by and have a great week.
