TOUCHING GRASS...

It has been a shitty week in crypto. Bitcoin had a massive nosedive and so did other coins. Some of the major airdrops I was expecting turned out to be crap. We also got news from projects like Venom that they will not be conducting an airdrop. These are not days we speak about because they are not only hard but they often fill you with doubt.
I had to take a step back and try something else, and I will advise other people to do the same if they are filling overwhelmed. I understand this can be difficult, especially for people like myself whose source of livelihood depends on an industry like crypto, but there is much one can do in these moments.
Trying harder might not be the solution. I understand people want to stay or look motivated, but it is also okay to admit that things are shitty. You do not have to fill your mind with excessive hopium. This can push you to make silly trades or decisions. You don’t have to buy every dip. The best thing you can do in this situation is to take a step back and touch grass.
Most times it takes some level or form of withdrawal to view a thing objectively. For instance, I have been thinking a lot about my journey as a Web 3 content creator and the need to expand beyond this space. There are a lot of opportunities out there I can capitalise on. As much as i value my community it does have its limits and I need to push past these boundaries.
Touching grass might also be a good way to replenish your energy. The crypto industry can be very demanding and often people lose themselves in their quest to become millionaires. We cannot all become crypto millionaires, so it is important that we set realistic goals for ourselves and also know when it is time to take a break to do something else. Youre dreams and ambitions won’t suddenly disappear if you take a few days off for self-care.
Eventually, the market sentiment will change and we will begin to see positive price action. If you are investing your time in the right projects then you are guaranteed profit. This is how most people play in this industry. Worrying about your bag changes nothing, you have no control over what happens in the market. You are a speculator just like everyone else. Your duty is to do your part and hope for a positive outcome.
My last piece of advice would be to find something fun to do in this industry. For instance, I am a content creator on Hive. I don’t have to talk about crypto or my portfolio every second. There is more to this space than charts and portfolios. You can find ways to integrate your passion with what you do in the Web3 space. This is the only way to truly enjoy your time in this space.
In conclusion, the stoics will say that we cannot control everything that happens to us but we can control how we react to them. Touching grass is another way to control your reaction to a bearish market. It gives you the required time to reflect and replenish your energy. So I urge you to go out and try something fun.
So that will be all for today. Cheers

Great post @nonsowrites.
The word Touching grass isn't a bad idea at all. The crypto market can be Very draining, especially when we expect a lot from it.
I couldn't catch up with the news of bitcoin falling down to $26K, I had issues with my hive keys, which literally drifted me out of hive for a week, unfortunately I can't access my funds, so I had to create this new account.
We as humans don't just accept our loss, which might have a negative effect on our next move.
I literally had to accept that I have already lost my previous account and nothing can be done.
We Should learn to make good decisions 🙌.
