Today, the Englishman has completed his medicals with Bayer Leverkusen and has signed a four-year deal with the club. Liverpool has a buy-back clause of 60-70 million euros with add-ons, and it will officially be effective from 2027, plus they still have a percentage in future sales, along with the deal.

The deal is finalised, and now Liverpool can focus on getting Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace as a potential backup for the Liverpool defence next season. Marc Guehi has been on Liverpool's radar for a long time as he is at the top of the shortlist for centre backs this summer. The Crystal Palace player, as I reported, has a year left on his contract with Liverpool, but the Reds are not willing to wait that long to sign the player.
