Jarell Quansah To Bayern Leverkusen Confirmed: Liverpool Eyes Marc Guehi This Summer
Yesterday, another departure from Liverpool was confirmed after a week of club-to-club negotiations. Jarell Quansah who I made post about that he is on the verge of joining Bayern Leverkusen as in the next two days a final decision will be made, we'll yesterday it has been confirmed by Fabrizio Romano that Liverpool and Bayern Leverkusen have reached an agreement of the signing of the English player as Bayern Leverkusen will pay the 30 million euros, plus the 5 million euros add-ons which was requested by Liverpool.
Liverpool were not done yet as they put a buy back option clause on the deal to have control on Jarell Quansah in the long run, which means the Reds can decide to buy back the Englishman in 3-4 years if they are interested which I think is a good amount of time for Jarell Quansah to improve and grow as a player. Honestly, Liverpool got a great deal from these sales because I personally don't think Quansah is worth that amount, but to get 30 million euros and still have a buy-back clause is a fantastic deal.
Jarell Quansah has already accepted personal terms with Bayern Leverkusen, so it was not an issue in the first place to get the player to join the club. It was nice having the young lad at the club for the past two years, and hopefully, he does well in Bayern Leverkusen because I doubt his chapter with the club is over. Liverpool is both spending and bringing money into the club this summer, and I am sure there will be a good fee for Darwin Nunez if he accepts Napoli's sporting project. Liverpool should set the price tag for Darwin at around 45-50 million euros. It all depends on how Napoli is going to negotiate with Liverpool.
Jarell Quash now leaves the door open for Liverpool to go get Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi as he has been on the shortlist for Liverpool for a long time. Marc Guehi has one more year on his contract with Crystal Palace, which the Reds could wait and get him for free next summer, but I doubt Liverpool will wait, as other Premier League clubs are interested in signing the centre back this summer. It all depends on how the Reds can convince the player with their sporting project because I am seeing reports about Marc Guehi planning on seeing out his contract with Crystal Palace.
Liverpool is certainly not done this summer transfer window, as more signings will still be made during the course of the summer transfer window. I am not really intrigued by the links between Marc Guehi and Liverpool, but if the sporting director and Arne Slot want the player, then they see the quality that most of the fans don't see in the player. There are more updates on Liverpool outgoings to come, which I will share with the community. So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by, and have a good day.
