Alexander Isak's Issue With Newcastle United

Good day, everyone, and welcome to another update on Liverpool-related content. It has been a long month in the transfer window, and Liverpool has done well in signing this unexpected summer. Now the Isak story has been on for a long time as there has not been a conclusion to this saga from Newcastle United, who are the ones prolonging the inevitable as they are trying to keep Isak at the club at all costs. The truth is the Megpies are already playing a losing game because they could have gotten Hugo Ekitike if they had opened the door to letting Isak leave when Liverpool submitted their first bid.

They instead rejected the bid and pushed for Benjamin Sesko, who rejected the club's project and accepted Manchester United's project, which left the Megpies displaced again in their pursuit of a striker. Newcastle United has decided that they won't listen to Liverpool's offers as they are not going to let Isak leave this summer and this doesn't sit well with Isak as the Swedish player has decided not to show up in training which means he won't be playing matches for Newcastle United as he shows his clear desire to leave the club.

There were reports that Newcastle United's top officials went to talk with Isak at his home to convince the player not to leave and reintegrate him back to the squad, but the answer remains clear from Isak, which is that he wants to leave the club and join Liverpool this summer window. Liverpool is obviously ready to bid again for Isak and personal terms won't be an issue as it will be done immediately, but Newcastle United has everything to lose in this saga and within the board, they know this will happen because it will be much worse having a player that doesn't want to play in the club still be on the team.

It could affect the dressing room, which is not what Eddie Howe and the board want, since they will be going into a Champions League competition, in which they hope to perform well this season. This situation should have been sorted before the league began, and now Newcastle is starting a season without a proper striker, which is bad. The Megpies have done everything in their power to convince Isak to stay and have even offered a new contract with a higher salary, but nothing has changed Isak's decision to leave the club.

This is the crucial week of the transfer window and I think there is a lot more to this story. In my opinion, I love the idea of Isak coming to Liverpool, and with Ekitike, who has been incredible since the start of the season, it will be an absolute stockpile of quality if Isak eventually joins Liverpool this summer. So guys, this is where I drop my pen for now, and if an update on Isak's situation comes up, I will share it with the community. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
