Good morning hivers, today I want to take you to a place where I left my heart! A dear friend of mine had been recommending this place to me for several months, praising its food and prices. But with various commitments we hadn't had the chance to try going there yet until we found an evening where it suited everyone. The place is located on one of the outskirts of the city, easily accessible located on the road and called "Il Castagno" for the chestnut tree of the same name that stands behind the place. I liked the place straight away, I love cheerful and colorful places and this place is a riot of colours!!! The thing that struck me most is the ceiling decorated entirely with colored umbrellas, the place is small but really nice, the furniture is simple but the atmosphere is unique precisely because there are elements of color everywhere, hearts and hanging drawings, tablecloths and colorful walls, cheerful paintings hanging and a smell of home cooking that makes you hungry as soon as you enter.

Buenos días hivers, hoy quiero llevaros a un lugar donde dejé mi corazón! Un querido amigo mío me recomendaba este lugar desde hacía varios meses, elogiando su comida y sus precios. Pero con varios compromisos todavía no habíamos tenido la oportunidad de intentar ir allí hasta que encontramos una velada que satisfacía a todos. El lugar está situado en una de las afueras de la ciudad, de fácil acceso situado en la carretera y llamado "Il Castagno" por el castaño del mismo nombre que se encuentra detrás del lugar. El lugar me gustó enseguida, me encantan los lugares alegres y coloridos y ¡¡¡este lugar es un derroche de colores!!! Lo que más me llamó la atención es el techo decorado enteramente con sombrillas de colores, el lugar es pequeño pero muy bonito, los muebles son sencillos pero el ambiente es único precisamente porque hay elementos de color por todas partes, corazones y dibujos colgantes, manteles y paredes de colores. , alegres cuadros colgados y un olor a comida casera que te da hambre nada más entrar.

As soon as we sit down they bring us the menu and a really kind waitress compliments me and my friend on our look, really pretty, we immediately ordered the drinks, water and blond beer on tap, then we studied the menu which is quite varied, it offers simple dishes such as salad, caprese, platters, first courses with handmade ravioli, gnocchi, pasta with various sauces including wild boar, second courses such as mixed grill, chicken with lemon, scallops, seared beef, various fish-based second courses obviously a little more expensive than the others such as sea bass fillet, lobster linguine, mixed fried fish, swordfish, stewed prawns and a number of classic desserts. Fortunately, my friend had warned us that the portions were really large and that it would be difficult to eat everything from the starter to the dessert. She is vegetarian so she ordered a salad and fried mushrooms, in reality we all had a portion each of fried mushrooms because they were the house specialty and they were really delicious.

Then my husband and I took some mixed platters, a platter with which we dined since they were immense, with various cold cuts, salami, coppa, porchetta, ham and cheese such as pecorino and goat's cheese and some croutons with mushrooms and livers, I have to admit that I don't really like ham but the ham from this place was so delicious that I would have had another portion! A really plentiful and good platter! After the platter and the mushrooms we were full but still had room for dessert, I had a delicious homemade caramel cheesecake while the others went for the classic tiramisu served in a pretty jar. An excellent dinner and the best surprise was the bill! We spent 15 euros each! Really a fair price for what we ate and drank!!!

Luego mi marido y yo cogimos unas fuentes mixtas, fuente con la que cenamos ya que eran inmensas, con varios embutidos, salami, coppa, porchetta, jamón y quesos como pecorino y queso de cabra y unos picatostes con champiñones e hígados, yo Tengo que admitir que no me gusta mucho el jamón, ¡pero el jamón de este lugar estaba tan delicioso que habría comido otra porción! ¡Un plato realmente abundante y bueno! Después del plato y los champiñones estábamos llenos pero todavía teníamos espacio para el postre, yo comí una deliciosa tarta de queso casera con caramelo mientras los demás se decantaban por el clásico tiramisú servido en un bonito tarro. ¡Una cena excelente y la mejor sorpresa fue la cuenta! ¡Gastamos 15 euros cada uno! ¡Realmente un precio justo por lo que comimos y bebimos!
