This Lifestyle...
For each day we open our mind for new knowledge, we get it. It can be simple knowledge, or it can be something sensitive, but the bottom line is that new knowledge is added. Again, this knowledge can be from anyone, regardless of age.
Yesterday, my second child burst my mind. He told me something sensitive and very personal. I am sorry, I can't disclose it here, but I learned something valuable from him. I was amazed at what such a child of 7 years can silently observe and tell me, "Mummy, why not do it this way?" Maybe it's God talking to me through him? Just maybe because it baffles me that such a child can reason deeply and smartly in the manner he spoke to me politely. Anyways, I grabbed his message and thanked him for such knowledge, because it's a big value added.
Talking about appreciation, it's a virtue to uphold. Thanksgiving and gratitude—just express them whenever necessary without holding back. No matter how little a thing is that demands appreciation, it is worth it. Ever since I cultivated this gratitude culture for even the little things, I saw a big impact it had made in my life.
I attended church this morning, and the priest said something amazing regarding giving thanks to God and expressing our gratitude to our spouses and anyone making an impact in our lives in one way or another. When it comes to giving thanks to God, he said it's a lifestyle we should embrace no matter any situation we find ourselves in. The gift of life is already enough to say thank you, God. Again, he said to our spouses, "Every time should not be a time to request money." Sometimes, we should take our time to reflect on how much each other has been so helpful and appreciate one another. Just say "sweetheart," "honey," "my love," or "my darling friend"—the list is endless. Just take your time to show gratitude to one another.
Appreciation goes a long way to bring back joy in our families and between our loved ones as well.
I hope you got value as much as I did? Have a #beautifulSunday and a blessed week!

Indeed! I think it can be refreshing to say thank you whenever one feels grateful, it's a nice sense of acknowledgement. Of course, I'm also grateful when I don't feel grateful, especially of the simple abd little things that are easy to take for granted :)
Yea..gratitude in all ramification is the goal for me..even in little thing

That’s what children are meant for. To speak the truth fearlessly but sometimes parents overlook it and the miss it.
It’s my pleasure!

This really hit hard.
It’s amazing how children can sometimes be vessels of wisdom without even realizing it. And yes, cultivating gratitude as a lifestyle changes so much, it keeps the heart soft and relationships stronger.
Thanks @nkemakonam89 for sharing this reminder, I got value from it too.
