My Fun Journey of Discovering a Celebrity Look-Alike - LOH #253

When I was still at my teenage stage, my mates and I would always tease ourselves about the kind of celebrities we look like and the ones we admire and desire to look like. Sometimes we forced ourselves to mimic some of the physical features of a particular celebrity we love and started singing like the person or acting like she used to act in a movie. What about cat walking? We did all of that, and the successful ones, we craved to be successful in life just like them, so many silly thoughts back then, hahaha. I must say those days were so fun, just anything to make us happy, no boring life in any way. Now that I think of all our crazy mimicking lifestyle, I can't help but laugh at myself, lol.

As we grow into adulthood, life becomes more serious, right? But yet, it didn't stop me from engaging in social life, watching some celebrities, and admiring some of them. Over time, some people around me kept saying that I look like Mercy Chinwo, maybe due to how much I love her songs and admire her always? I wouldn't know, but I have been told on different occasions that Merfy Chinwo is my look-alike.

I may not be a great singer like Mercy Chinwo, but there is something about her that looks like it connects both of us 😉. The only thing I can point out about our physical look-alike is the diastema (gap teeth), our contagious smile, you know, lol, and maybe our skin color? Whatever, but her songs always give me goosebumps. I am literally addicted to her songs; I sleep and wake up with varieties of her soul-lifting songs. Most of which send powerful messages to my inner heart as if my heart is receiving divine circumcision, lol. The extent to which I love her and admire her and her songs is that I am always updated on her next song release. Surprisingly, I once had a dream of becoming one of her backup singers, hahaha.

This celebrity who is my look-alike carries grace. I do not only admire her physical appearance but also the kind of spirit in her that always connects us together. Her modesty and her lifestyle say a lot about me, which makes me really believe that somehow, she is my celebrity look-alike. Whenever I watch her videos and photos closely, I see my mini-me in her. 😉Has anyone told you that you look like a certain celebrity? If yes, who could that be? Hehehe
