Intentional Planning: The Life Hack That Changed My Days

No one came into existence in this world with any form of life manual. Each day we keep learning and unlearning a lot, and in the process, we stumble upon simple tricks that could make life a lot easier for us, and embracing such becomes nonnegotiable.

Personally, one of the powerful life hacks that has been helping me a lot is intentional planning. You should know what it means for someone to be very deliberate about her daily planning, without leaving anything by default. Ever since I learned and embraced this trick, it has reshaped my life for good. I no longer run helter-skelter with both handling my mom duties and business demands with a focused attention and without tension like before.

Gone are the days when I usually feel exhausted without being productive. No more being a busy bee without an effective day. This result was made possible with this life hack of mine called intentional planning.

I tried it and saw that it is what I needed all along but didn't discover it early enough, but today feels better. The way I have been going about this is that every morning or at night sometimes, I will pen down three major things I must achieve for that day, come rain or come sun, just three. Every other additional one wouldn't be an issue if I couldn't meet up, but my top three are a must to accomplish.

I understand that I usually have a lot of important things to lay hands on each day, but making my top three a must to attend to has been a game changer for me; this is intentional planning, not just waking to face responsibilities without direction.

The list of my daily activities as a mom and a new entrepreneur has been so overwhelming, but starting my day with a defined target makes me feel calm, focused, and more productive. With my top three daily, I push myself to focus on what matters the most; instead of touching this and that, certain things must be done while the rest follow suit.

This life hack has helped make my life to study more organized and well structured. The era of confusion is over, but rather the hack brought me a better clarity and, most importantly, peace of mind, which is a luxury to me.

Even in my business, I have adopted this life hack. I understand that everything can't be fixed in a day, so each day, I set up a plan, a very intentional plan. It could be that today is solely for production, and the next day is for follow-up on our old customer and creating new customers through a trick I discovered. Another day, I could sit back and plan on how to grow my business.
****"

Rather than trying to fix everything at once, handling this goals bit by bit makes things run more smoothly with less stress and in of all these, intentional planning as a life hack brought me this far.

This post is in response to the Hive Learners community prompt on the topic titled A LIFE HACK.

If you try to fix everything at once, you will only break down. It calls for intentional planning to be able to have a productive day.
