Fatherhood, Sacrifice, and the Love That Often Goes Unseen

I have been wondering why Father's Day is not usually loudly celebrated like we used to have it during Mother's Day. I wouldn't know if this observation is a general thing across the globe, but at least in this part of my country, I have noticed it since many years ago.

Let's not even go far; in my church, they will just announce it on the same day during the offering and invite the fathers to come up for thanksgiving in celebration of their Day, while for Mother's Day, it will be announced even a month before the day and preparations will begin, making the day colorful. Anyways, happy Father's Day to all the fathers, father figures, and guidances.

Maybe it's because I was born on a Father's Day that makes me not joke with this day, although the date usually varies. The year I was born, Father's Day was on 17th June, so it's not my birthday today but in two days' time. I really feel like taking my time to look deeply into the great work fathers do in our families. I understand that some fathers aren't responsible, no doubt. Some of them subject their wives to unnecessary torture, and some leave their responsibility at home to their wives. That's true; we see and hear of many things like that, but there are still many responsible fathers, many fathers who go out of their way to make sure that their families are comfortable. We see all their sacrifices, all the hustles and struggles; they can't go unnoticed.

When I was growing up, I watched my mum support my father financially and in many ways in raising my siblings and me. There were lots of bills to pay, food to buy, school fees to attend to, rent, electricity, medications, name it, but yet, my mom never left my father to shoulder the whole responsibility alone . She hustles a lot, engaged in different businesses to make ends meet. That was commendable, and my Dad appreciated her a lot. It shows love, and I love their synergy. Now that I am married, I follow in the footsteps of my mom in assisting my husband, the father of my home.
Some of these men overthink due to unending responsibilities. Imagine giving them relief; that would be great and appreciated. It becomes a win-win.

So on this day, let's celebrate the sacrifices of our fathers, our husbands, father figures, etc., and let's continue to give them support in our capacity in order to fulfill responsibilities at home in love. If you are a wife or wife-to-be, consider assisting that man of the house emotionally, spiritually, financially, and otherwise.

I come in peace.
Happy new week!

Responsible fathers need to be celebrated always, and fathers days should also be loud, they deserve.ore than this. I myself didn't know today was Father's day.

I also agree that women should also help the responsible men in their lives with some responsibilities because they are really caring a lot on their shoulders

Father's day, Mother's day sounds ridiculous to me in my country. Let me explain why I think about it in that way.

It's because on that specific day, I have seen some trendy people show their affection, love to their parents like they were the best children in the world, but after the end of the day, they don't show 10% of affection for their parents. It's like they celebrate those kinds of days to show the world on social media about how much they love their parents, which is fake.

Wow...in everything , there must be unreal people doing things to show up

I just feel everyday is mother's day and everyday if father's day as long as we treat them well and show our respect. But I don't have any issue if there is a specific day if the feelings are genuine.
