Exploring the Concept of a Perfect World: Fantasy or Feasibility?

A lot of us fantasize about a peaceful and perfect world, a world devoid of pain, insecurity, and corruption. A world without borders where we can travel around our world without restrictions of any kind and experience unimaginable adventures.

I once had a dream after watching a particular movie, and in that dream, I found myself in Canada mingling with white people and even securing a job there. I saw many Nigerians over there, and I felt at home. It was a long dream that involved lots of my usual daily activities with my family. I didn't know how I got to Canada in that dream, but it was painful when I woke up and realized it was only a dream. I don't even have an international passport yet, not to mention a visa, which takes lots of protocols and resources to get, and then I was dreaming of finding myself in Canada. I think the dream was just one of many thoughts that clouded my mind recently.

A perfect world would mean that everyone lives in peace, there's harmony and love, no poverty, no hatred,no sickness, no greed, no hunger in our world, people will help each other to grow and attain their desired goals, and lots more goodies. Wow, this sounds great and perfect indeed, but then, would this ever be possible in our world today? I sincerely doubt it. Naturally, most human beings have this natural wickedness, selfishness, and desire to rob others. I feel no one can totally control an adult and make him stick to a particular lifestyle that would be good for our world. As much as we may desire and pursue a perfect world, we may never have it. The Judas among us must show themselves and imagine that if the evil ones can travel around their world without restrictions, the degree of insecurity will be higher than what we are experiencing today.

But to answer the question from today's prompt, here is what I would do if I were to experience a world without borders and issues of insecurity, and what kind of person would I be?

I will be an adventurer, traveling across countries and learning the cultures and ways of people across the world. For a lover of adventure and for someone who has craved to travel outside her country but has never gotten the opportunity to do so, traveling around the world will be a lifestyle to embrace.

This time, there will be no visa troubles but a privilege to explore my world. I may even become a tourist overnight, without the fear of insecurity, visiting different places in my country and outside my country, adding knowledge to myself. Because a perfect world will offer me life without poverty,I will ensure that my daily living is close to perfect. The kind of lifestyle I have visualized will be established.

My daily life will be settled, free of worries, and more focused if I don't have to bother about security issues.

We may not have a perfect world but individually, we can work towards having a better world through our actions.

All of the post I have read today talks about going for adventures, spending money and having fun. Seems like we at hivelearners love travelling.

Well, I am no different, travelling keeps the soul happy and exploring brings about a physical relief.

I am happy to see that you too love travelling.

depending of the place you go white people are rare hehehehe. Interesting that I lived in 2 different cities, one of them I met many Nigerians, including my house neighbour. But here now I find more people from other countries in Africa hehehhe. Ghana, Zimbabwe etc.

It is a beautiful dream by the way =)

You are right, perhaps it is a utopia to wish for a perfect world, but that would be wonderful, a world in peace, where everyone contributed instead of subtracting. Beautiful post. Greetings

Imagining a world without any country border is interesting. It's one kind of fantasy I want to see but everything has it's disadvantages also and in this case, It's no different. But from the perspective of a traveler, It will be a great opportunity.
