Adventures Have Boundaries
There are some kinds of people who don't think twice about taking risks all because they want to be adventurous. Yeah, I love adventures too. I love to explore new places, make new friends, learn new things, and just be versatile in my world and stay at the top of the happenings around my world in my capacity, but no doubt, there are some adventures I wouldn't dare even if you fully funded me for the move.
You know, I read the topic descriptions of this prompt, and I was like, ALIEN PLANET? That sounds like an adventure, stepping into another habitable planet. At first, my imagination got wild, and I was so curious to imagine what the place will look like. Will it be like the earth? Will there be a hospital? In case I fall sick, will there be a market? Lol, will I meet fellow human beings there too or just aliens? Now this is sounding scary already hahaha...imagine seeing this as an adventure and rushing in there, only to discover that no human like me is there; that would be a total scare, you know.
But then, it's not enough for me to be curious about exploring such a habitable planet, but definitely I will do adequate research before making such a move. Again, as long as I can't go with my family members because, of course, they may never accept to go to such a place with me, hehehe, then it wouldn't even be considered. I can only imagine how boring life will be for me over there, and that's not what I want for myself, no! I am not willing to uproot my life here on earth and move to an alien planet; it sounds weird, even...lol.
I will simply remain here on earth, doing the same thing as everyone else, and I will tell you many whys for this choice. Firstly, Earth is my home. Imagine moving to a strange land of the aliens; I would be treated like a stranger all in the name of an adventure or what have you. There are my loved ones around me here, there are my families, and there are activities that keep me going and keep me refreshed even in our chaotic earth, and that's ok; I adapted a long time ago. I don't like living in uncertainties; there are some risks that could turn out to be a journey of no return, this one included...lol.
Staying back on earth doesn't mean life is too perfect for me here, but a lot of things give me hope to keep thriving even if I keep struggling here on earth; the devil you know is better than the angels you don't know. Aliens will see me as a stranger and could devour my life. Yes, humans also devour each other with lots of killings here and there, but yet, I prefer to live with my fellow humans; that's how our Creator designed it to be. Due to science, it's a great idea to explore the aliens' habitat, but not for me. I am not a scientist and definitely not risking my precious life with those evils, lol, all in the name of exploring a new habitable planet.
Some things aren't just worth risking no matter how palatable they sound; this is me taking a calculated risk instead of making my life vulnerable for one Alien.
Overall, Earth is very unique with its features; I don't think it will be comparable to another habitable planet out there. There's really no place like home.

Well if there's one thing I can say about this whole alien relocation shenanigans is that it might be a lot of things but you see boring, that is completely out of the question. Years of watching and reading the sci-fi multiverse has taught me that if there are aliens out there then the only reason we haven't seen them yet is because they don't want to be found by an inferior race (humans) and that these aliens are always far advanced than us.
I also dont want to leave this planet to permanently relocate to another but if it is just for vacations then count me in because the boy in me has been dreaming about this opportunity since forever.
This whole prompt really got me in my feelings no doubt made this old man dream again🤣🤣
Plz prepare to go alone and don't call me while going biko 😃😃
Exactly, no place like home o. Imagine learning to speak alien language just to interact 😂😂😂
Omo e go too funny
Chai ...u think far oo😃😃
That's another important factor to consider
Nne ...I jump and pass biko lol

Awesome work @nkemakonam89! Your Hive achievements are truly inspiring. Keep it up!
That line about not even considering it if your family cant come along really hit me, it shows your priorities are clear.
As a numbers person, I liked the re;search bit too, turning wanderlust into a calculated risk instead of a blind leap.
On an alien planet, the unknown costs are thru the roof, and then your stuck budgeting for oxygen and loneliness, no thanks :)
Staying with what works is not boring, its a smart thnig when life is already a wild ride here.
You’ve said it all. Some things are just not worth taking the risk. Earth is a beautiful place even if it might not be the best for some but it has all we need as humans to strive so I wonder why we need to look for something else.

That's true. I think we are curious to know more about other planet and find a planet where we can survive together. We may ready to go there if all of us are ready to relocate there but relocating to other planet alone is not a good option for us.
