A Sunday Experience to Remember

Cast your anxieties on God because He cares! This was the heart of the sermon by the priest today during the church service. It was one of those kinds of long sermons, but very interesting. My observations so far since I have been attending mass are that once a priest engages in a long and boring sermon , a lot of people will be asleep no matter how much the church warden wakes them up, but today was exceptional. The topic of the sermon alone is captivating. This is because everyone in our world today has one thing or another bothering us.

There are so many challenges people go through , leading to worries, but who among us has received solutions through being worried? Of course, no one!.. It was as if the sermon was meant for me. I have encountered a whole lot this past week that made me worry about many things and many people , but today , this sermon encouraged me deeply. It reminded me to entrust my worries to God instead because he cares. He is able to sustain me and relieve me of the burden.

The priest said something about having peace within. He said we should lay our worries on the cross and trust God for peace inside of us. I received a lot of insight from the sermon, and as I kept meditating on it, I began to feel like my burdens were lifted. This is because I have been reminded that my creator is able to give me the peace I seek, and I believe it!! . Furthermore , the priest reminded us about God's promises on how he will give us rest from our heavy burdens. It's another hope for us that our creator will never leave us nor forsake us when we call on him and call him with all our hearts.

Personally , I got a lot of value from today's sermon, and I was like , why not share it with my fellow hivers? Perhaps there is something you are worried so much about; just remember that you are not alone. Your creator is able to see you through. Just take a simple action by casting your burdens on him and trusting him completely.

By the way , something happened as I was going home from the church this morning. Some members of my church had some misunderstanding. It's actually between a young guy and an elderly woman. I was wondering what they were arguing about with anger and so much shouting. Before I knew it, the young guy hit the elderly woman and pushed her on the ground. The woman fell down and screamed badly. Right there on the ground , she was crying, and I was troubled . Before I could rush to help out, other people already helped to raise her up from the ground, and they dragged the young guy back to the church to see the priest , and I left home. I didn't stay to know what actually transpired between them, but whatever it is, the young guy did terribly bad for pushing a woman old enough to give birth to him three times. I was wondering where people's morals had gone. Where is our respect again in this era? At least my culture forbids this act, religion aside.

I can only hope that people start cultivating self-control and not allow our emotions to cloud our sense of reasoning. That way, we may start thinking and acting right .

It's sublime Sunday and I hope you have a relaxing day!

Everyone have many things to worry and I think it becomes complicated if we think more about it. It's better sometimes try to forget about worries.
I also encounter many incidents like you faced today and I never bother myself to know what's happening there because I think there are many people already to solve the issue. My presence won't make much difference there. It's better to save my time.

Indeed..many people have different things to worry about . It's better to think less of it

The incident ..hmmm, I was really troubled but it's now in the past

The Bible emphasize it always: take my yoke for it is easy, take my burden for it is light. Come unto me, all ye that are heavy laden, and I'll give you rest..
There's really nothing of our own strength we can do, unless we trust God.
