It's great that these buildings have been cared for and maintained over the years, although it's also true that many were destroyed before laws were passed to protect them, and even with those laws in place, many people are investing money to tear them down and build towers or offices.

Que bueno que a pesar de los años se hayan cuidado y mantenido estos edificios aunque también es verdad que hay muchos que fueron destruidos antes de que sacaran las leyes para su protección y aun con esas leyes muchos ponen dinero para derribarlos y hacer torres u oficinas.
