NEWBIES TASK4

Hi Everyone,

It is another time of the week to showcase what I have learnt so far from the Newbie Initiative that started few weeks back and before I go in fully, I will like to appreciate the team of the Newbie Initiative.

Truth be told, I might not be there to see the behind the scenes of the stress they go through, workload of every team member for the weekly training, compilation of adequate materials needed for every week and also the consistency put in place week in week out but I can see the result of all the behind the scenes during the trainings and the priceless knowledge poured in me and my fellow newbies in the initiative.

I am saying THANK YOU for all the sacrifices.

Moving on, these are the questions I will be answering for this week task:

What do you understand by tribe token and give two examples each ?

The tribe token is associated with communities on Hive and it is used to reward those that make a post so as to encourage them to do more and also for fun. This is done in the comment section by using a specific command and the community bot will initiate the token and it will be delivered in the writer's wallet.

Examples of tribe tokens are:

1. LUVshares token which was developed by @luvshares with the intention of fostering love amidst hivers on Hive.

2. PIZZA token we created by @thebeardflex with the intention of encouraging users to share pizza with their friends as fun engagement.

What is the difference between the tags and tribe token?

✓ Tribe tokens are peculiar to different communities while tags are labels.
✓ Tags are used to promote contents on hive while tribe tokens are used for rewards and also for fun engagements

Follow through the material for buying and selling with Hive Engine, and successfully place a buy and sell order of LEO token or any Hive-engine token of your choice. Showing all steps taken with screenshot.

I went directly to my Key Chain app to perform the tasks after I watched the video made available in the materials shared.

So as the app opened, I click the world-like icon showing at the bottom of the app.

I typed in the website that will allow me to convert my Hive to Swipe Hive before I begin the actual buy or sell order task. Look at the top most part of he image you are seeing below and you will see where the website is typed.

It was really stressful for me because I was engaging it for the first time and everything looks strange at first but I found out there was a thing shown in the material which I am not seeing, then I had to switch to me crypto skill and finally I found it.

I was meant to click the 3 dashes below the BEE SWAP which will allow me to connect my wallet so as to import my Hive token so as to have the liberty to perform the swap successfully.

Token swapped and ready for the buy and sell order. See the screenshot below.

After it was converted, I moved directly to the hive engine website as shown in the materials shared, I had to log in since it was my first time I am visiting the website and you can also see the practicality in the screenshot below.

So I have to move by clicking the 3 dash icon at the upper left corner which shows me different option as shown in the material and I clicked on token which I searched for PIMP token.

I moved directly to the market and I couldn't use the LIMIT buy order because it will require I wait for the market to tilt towards my buy order before it can be concluded. So instead, I used the MARKET buy order which will make my bid instant.

I did the same to my SELL order too which made my bid insta but it was not profitable because I didn't use the process shown in the material which is LIMIT buy order and LIMIT sell order which is more profitable.

Finally, I finished my task.
