Tungsten Light Bulb Modeling in 3ds Max
Hello everyone, I'm here again to share another 3d model work I've been doing a lot lately. I'm really enjoying the whole 3ds max journey so far and like they say, practice makes perfect. I've been a Maya user for quite some time... and it hasnt been that long that I began to delve into 3ds max and like I said, I am loving it so much. That is not to say that I will stop using Maya, I will still be using Maya for other things like animation and other serious works and projects since that is what I'm most comfortable using till I am fully comfortable with using 3ds Max.
I will most likely be using 3ds max specifically for modeling since it has a lot more modeling tools and modifiers. After that, I can send the model to Maya using the obj file format for other things like animation since Maya is a much better tool for animation and physics simulation. Doing these little modeling works in 3ds max has been a breath of fresh air for me as it is a great way to learn any software by constantly practicing and trying to get better. Modeling this tungsten light bulb was really fun as it taught me a lot about trying to achieve an almost realistic image.
