Warming Up For The Weekend With Some DnB

Wow, can't believe that this one I'm sharing today is from 2015 but if you look at that little number in the bottom left of the artwork above, you can see that this is the first release that was on the Audio Animals Foundation label (which they didn't keep for too long).
It was a real honour to be the first, and indeed, the last release on this label with Rocket Ship and Wish You Were Here.
I've known the studio since 2014 and have developed a rapport with the lads that run it. Their studio is immense and I've visited a couple of times but not so recently.
At the time, I sent them Rocket Ship to be mastered (i.e. sound-maximised) and they asked if I wanted to have this released with them.
I couldn't believe it but of course went for it! Rocket Ship for me as an early days producer, felt like it was ahead of my own time with how much better the sound quality seemed in comparison to my other tracks.
It does sample a guitar melody from one of my favourite Santana tracks but despite the label closing soon after it was launched, this track still remains on my music YouTube channel (even though the AA themselves said they pulled all the releases).
So it remains and I'm fine with that, brings a smile to my face being a part of their history in some way!
